I've never understood what happened to Sergio Reguilon

He was quality in his first season. There's a good player there.

Is it just a matter of his style not fitting certain systems, or has he done something atrocious behind the scenes?

He was never quality. He ran around a lot but he is a completely brainless player. No consistency in his game at all, stupid fouls, terrible crosses, zero composure in front of goal, rubbish in the air, if he was from Scotland people would think he was a League Two player.

He's gash. Horrible player with zero football brain. Who the hell scouted him. Basically hit a purple parch in a cup run.

Yeah no other club makes bad transfers…

*switches back to United match*

:pochshock2:
I mean there’s players who are bad purchases but I can see the logic in them.

Maguire didn’t evolve into the titan at the back they wanted but there was a chance he might be.

Sancho you could see the ability, him flopping is mostly down to his terrible professionalism.

Mason mount, mostly injured but when fit, bus can be an excellent pressing midfielder.

Crouch whose goals got us into the CL for the first time and into the group stages and was sold for a minimal loss.

Crouch who was far better at linking play than Pav could ever dream of?

Shut up now.
Surely you can't be serious?
Yeah it was such an improvement going from Modric stringing tidy passes in midfield to fucking it up to the big man for him to foul an opposing defender with his goofy jumping or ping it off his head for a throw in?
You're lost lol

Pav was fucking shite holding it up, your username is apt. Crouch brought far more to the side.
Pav would have fleeting moments when he decided to have the touch of a feather and drop deep like Berbatov, it was the maddest thing. And when he decided he wanted to win an aerial ball he was kind of a remarkable athlete.

Sadly of course these moments were few and far between and yeah you’re right, overall he played like an overgrown Defoe - except without the constant running in behind. Never seen someone go quite as invisible as he would.
