Have you watched him play this season?

I'm not saying we HAVE to sign him and at that price there are options like Summerville or Philogene but he would cook in this system. No doubt in my mind based on what I've seen.

Yes or I wouldn’t have commented. He isn’t what we need. We need a winger who plays on the touchline stretching the play who can go either way and is great at 1 on 1s. Hudson Odoi isn’t that throughout his career and at forest he does one thing and one thing only, dribbles down the left and cuts in on his right and shoots or crosses. He is completely the wrong type of winger for us. It would be a pointless signing to take advantage of a club’s ffp position rather than buy what we actually need. It’s exactly our kind of stupid move.

Not interested in any more “decent squad options” we need top quality wide men/ forwards.

I would take him over Werner under the conditions we still sign a top striker and top winger, which I can’t see happening if we’re spending 30 mil on CHO

Hudson Odoi is good, fast tricky and HG which we are going to need alot of unless we start playing our academy guys regularly

Think with him he's able to show his form now with consistent starts, he won't be doing that here

I have seen him dribble both directions this season. He scores going to his right but he's hard to stop because he can get to the byline and cut back or low cross.

Which games did you watch? maybe we saw different things?

Van de Venn (Dutch u21 captain when both players would have been in Dutch u21 squad) will know him , Burger got 4 u21 caps

Yeah it's an intriguing one. He looks from the HL videos like his left foot is very good but we know what they say about HLs.

We clearly can't expect to sign individual players to cover LB, RB, CB and #6. Guys like this and Gray that cover 2 or 3 of those positions make a lot of sense.

"OK Boss like I said the Rebuild is still needed , I'm going to need serious backing this window" :ange-pray:

:levystare:"Yes thats not a problem , Like I said before we are fully committed"

"Nice One Mate, Like I said I'm a Winner , Top 4 , yeah I get the financial side but its not for me - I want the league":ange-hmm:
"Of course Ange, So I have authorised Hudson Odoi and a perm signing of Timo Werner to really revamp that front 3 but i'm not stopping there I'm also approving a new contract extension for Sonny - I'm off to America now so i'll catch you next season"
"Mate":ange-hands-head:

Letting Sessegnon go for free is a sign of the times are slowly shifting, thought we'd extend then loan him or try to use him for some deal

Forster available for transfer? We must have a potential deal signed up for some sexy unknown young keeper

That is the list that pretty much everyone would put together. Except for Ben Davies obviously, that one is a disgrace.

I’ve always generally been a big proponent for Davies, even just as cover for a couple of roles and not as a starter. It’s harder at the moment to know exactly where he fits in this system though. He’s not built for the inverted LB role, he can’t play on the wing, and he‘s now the fourth option at CB.

I’ve really appreciated his tenure at the club, but it might just be time to move on.

Just some of their games when on tv and our games against them. None live, however he didn’t play against us at home until late in the game (just checked as I was away for that match).

I didn’t say he’s not a good player btw, just that he isn’t what we need at all.

Ben Davies has been a very good solid squad option for probably a decade at Spurs, but at age 31 and one year left on his contract and he's just passed his Stage 1 coaching badges, I could see him either see out his contract at Spurs as a back up LB/CB where he's not ideal for either but he's a solid defender or move on.

But with the number of players e might ideally like to sign, it would not surprise me to see him here in August for one last season.

Is CHO likely to eclipse Sonny over the next 12 months? .....If not; not interested.

Little doubt in my mind that Solomon can rough up the Europa League and make a few sub appearances elsewhere so I really don't see the point spending 20-30m on proverbial squad players.

Plus we've already seen he doesn't mesh too well with irregular game time.
