Levy is really trying to pull the wool over fans eyes if he attempts to replace HK with likes of Ivan Toney or similar. Get your money on the table for a worthy replacement not an aging Toney who is bang out of form. Much rather take a risk on a younger striker like Sesko or Openda.
Yeah I don't get this one, I think he is 29, is levy going to spend 40m on someone who, he won't get his money back on.
If he was 25 I would understand it but, this makes no sense under the levy business model.
In any case, this is probably just transfer tittle tattle.

But then again, we had world class striker who we made £100million transfer profit on. Spending £40million on his replacement very much is the the Levy way.

For the money and the rep. He’s on what 350K per week? If we are gonna torpedo our wage structure, let’s do it for a player that can have an impact

Sancho is neat and tidy with good balance/touch but doesn’t add enough final third threat

350k per week over 4 years is 72M ffs
Sancho will have to take a large wage cut if he wants to get out of United (which he does).

150-200k pw and at £30m, he's maybe worth a punt. If you can get him back to his best he's a Ballon d'Or level player. But he has known attitude issues and to date has only ever performed in the Bundesliga. Would be a big risk, but one with huge upside.

I think he needs a domestic loan, not sure if there's much point in keeping him around if you're not going to play him and use him as a sub, especially since he's benefitted from playing first team football consistently.

The likelihood about players like Parrott is that he won't make it with us unless he has a massive breakout season at a good level next season and that's fine because we just need to accept that sometimes not every player is going to make it with us, not every player who doesn't make it can be deemed a failure either because if we sell them then the academy has done it's job.

Same thing will happen to our U21 crop who won the PL2, 90% of those players aren't making it at Spurs, that's just the truth.

We need club trained players to be able to have a full squad for Europe.

He can compete for minutes in Europe and subs here and there.

He likely won't be good enough for us but if we can save money we wasted on the likes of Gil, n,jie n'koudo and Clarke to just name a few. We would be in a far better position by using the likes of Parrot when they do come around even for a season or two untill the next talent emerges..

Bryan Gil and Veliz out on loan again. So our big refresh of our attacking options, our weakest area, is going to be bringing Timo Werner back and 1 more. Unless thats a Nico Williams, Olise level signing then we're barely treading water given the improvements our rivals will make.
Exactly! We need a quality wide player and CF. If we go into next season with say son, richi, kulu, Johnson, timo and may be Toney then that is not improving the forwards like Ange said. It’s basically just Toney being added. I would get rid of richi who is never fit is not good enough any. Keep Troy, buy Toney and another quality wide man.
