Have my reservations given he's having his breakout season at 26 in a mid-table (albeit exciting) team, but he has a great profile for what we're lacking in a striker. Tall, strong, good hold-up play, a versatile finisher, and HG to boot.

Looked very good against The Rags on the weekend.

Wouldn't mind him but the fanbase will go into meltdown because he's not a fancy name and he has that known factor, if we bought in Viktor Gyökeres you'll see the opposite reaction because of the unknown factor despite him not setting a foot in the Prem.

All these hindsight merchants are funny, the guy hadn't even scored a goal in the Premier League before this season, been such a freak season, no-one ever envisaged something like this.
No one would have predicted he'd be in the golden boot race but it should have been obvious to anyone with a pair of eyes that he had the higher ceiling than Johnson, even without the goals.

And he was 10m cheaper!

You said he was better than Johnson before a ball was kicked despite him not scoring any goals in the Prem

It was obvious to everyone that he had higher potential or higher ceiling which was never in doubt but not all players were guaranteed to fulfill their potential mate which is why it isn't such a ridiculous thing to say

Hindsight merchant.

Tosin wants a move, his agent is working on it. That seems more likely to me. If we were really interested in him we would have signed him.
Almost went to Monaco last summer but they couldn’t meet Fulham’s demands.
He had the chance to come here by all accounts but wants to start. Don’t think he’s going to join to be a 4th choice CB. Yeah, yeah, I know all the ‘fight to become a starter’ arguments….

why not both? Richie has some useful characteristics and can play out wide. That way also son can stick to wide forward, he's not gonna beat a man and cross much anymore but with the right CF who can lay off the ball to him he can take shots from around the box for fun
Richarlison can play wide, and I think he has had good games playing out there this season, but he is best used as a striker.

I'd rather get a top left winger who can beat a man and retain possession. I think Richarlison is more of an inside forward who tries to run in behind and take shots, which is a good trait but I'm not sure if thats what we're looking for in a winger. If we are in for another striker then we are probably trying to sell Richarlison.

Sell Richarlison not sure what profile of player we wanted when we signed him.

Mohamed Amoura has been linked to Spurs before. He's main position is CF - and he's 170 cm (5'7") tall. Very fast and a decent dribbler - but I am certainly not overwhelmed. Adama Traoré is even faster...

Algerian outlet DZ Foot report that Tottenham Hotspur have already begun their efforts to sign Royale Union Saint-Gilloise star Mohamed Amoura ahead of the summer transfer window.

Ange back in touch with his Celtic scouts it seems...

who cares as long as they end up good.

He’s 26?

Pretty good age for a striker.

Risk reduced signing because you know what he’s capable of.

Works hard without the ball. Good attitude, doesn’t sulk.

Fuck knows what a good price is for that?

I like him better than Toney or Watkins and less than Isak. If the choice is him or keep Richy/Son and spend bigger on a WF, that’s not an easy call for me
If we sell Richarlison and get Solanke, then we can still spend big on a WF. They'll both go for around the same price (if transfermarkt is anything to go by).

About £50m I reckon, Bournemouth's highest fee they've received is Ake for £41m, essentially an easy deal to do, send Veliz the other way on loan.

Anyone who still wants to sign Onana from Everton needs their head looking at he looks completely disinterested in any kind of fight to keep Everton up.

Looking at the data he doesn't make the top 10 midfielders for tackles, blocks, interceptions, headed clearances, standing clearances, he ranks 9th for aerial battles won though
To be fair I've not watched Everton enough to judge him

one name that does keep popping up in all the lists though is Sheff United's
Vinicius Souza

6th for Blocks
2nd for Tackles behind Palhinha
2nd for Clearances
1st for Headed Clearances
5th for Aerial duels won

throughout all that though Sheff fans dont rate him him much, slow at tracking back, ball watching etc. so who knows. no clear choice out there

back to us, surprisingly none of our midfielders make the top 10 lists for Shots, or through balls, blocks, interceptions, or ground clearances or aerial duel success
However Bissouma makes 9th for tackles and 7th for headed clearances

Contract til 2027. It's probably Richy money all over again.

My suspicion is what Fixx is saying.

I don’t see us getting massive money for Richy. Son would fetch more.

If he’s 60m and we get 30m for Richy, are we really going and spending another 50-60m on Williams as well?
