There is no #6 there either but if we get Gallagher I can see us getting to January at least without one. Market for 6's is a bit shit and if Ugarte is the only one on the market, he ain't coming here.
I honestly hope Skipp spends his summer trying to convert to a #6. If he wants a future at Spurs, really, that's what he needs to become. I think he can become solid in that role, ceiling is higher for him there than elsewhere in the midfield.

ManC front five scored 27/19/11/3/3= 63

Arse front five scored 16/13/12/6/5 = 52

Liverpool’s front five scored 18/11/10/8/8 = 55

Spurs 17/11/8/5/2 = 43

Also creatively:

The XG table is:

Liverpool - 94.79
City - 89.55
Newc- 84.48
Arse- 84.39
Chel - 80.88
Tot- 73.35

This despite being the team with the second highest possession to City and I think (last time I saw it, maybe it’s changed since) one of the top 2/3 teams for touches in opponents box.

We need more/better quality creativity and goal scoring forwards.

The defending side right now needs to be more of a coached thing. Better quality forwards hopefully won’t keep coughing up the ball so often, but also need coaching on how to defend properly, and protect the midfield and the defence better than the the ones we have now do.

Upgrading other positions can be for future windows. For now, get me at least one creative/productive 8, a quality CF, and LF and RF.

Skipp can only be a utility player here IMO. One that could cover FB either side and 6 if needed. The club will keep him for Europe as club trained if he doesn't push a move but who could blame him if he did.

Guess they’re not worried about any kind of punishment coming down.

Not surprising but still disappointing
Doubt very much if, anything will help to city.
Premier league won't want to devalue their product by, stripping them of titles.
Easy to do it to Everton or Boro, because the league isn't worried about them being in the league or not, city are a big draw now around the globe.

Yeah, I don't hold out hope that Skipp will be our first choice #6. But if he can maximize his ability at that position, perhaps he can be our 2nd choice plus emergency fullback. Basically the new Dier.

How about another cheeky loan bid for Danjuma?

Could cover the winger and main striker remit

I reckon Danjuma would cook in Ange's system

That could then allow us to focus on finding a top quality defensive midfielder , Maybe James Milner? Reckon he'd be cheap and would also cook in Ange's system

That could then in turn allow us to focus on bringing in a top class attacking midfielder, perhaps Ross Barkley

We'd well and truly be cooking

Cooking

Cooking

Ross Barkley is being signed by Villa

Sorry to disappoint you
