I'm in 2 minds. part of me thinks Hudson Odoi, Toney and Gallacher would be good home grown signings and we need a squad. Other part says they are mid players and we have no ambition
Happy to have Gallagher. Don't want Toney. Will support Hudson Odoi and hope for the best without holding my breath.

We definitely need more HG players in the squad, and getting decent HG players who provide adequate sub options for a CL club is probably the easiest way to stay onside of squad restrictions.

Look at this FFP wriggle room we've built up, guys! .WOW!

I'm normally down on Levy and the transfer BS we put ourselves through, but I'm looking at the potential strikers available (even as a reach with unlimited money) and..... who? Like, who the hell are we even HOPING for unrealistically this window?

Not great to have a very shallow pool of option for our biggest need.
Yeah its a pity we never had one of the leagues best strikers to waste for 10+ yrs, you should be down on Levy.

Even if that is vaguely true then this is our opportunity isnt it. Everyone else struggling there isnt one good reason why we shouldnt be bullying our way to the front of the queue for the likes of Olise, Sesko, Ugarte, Eze. I mean i know we wont and we'll be looking at cash strapped clubs for bargains but Klopp gone, Utd all over the shop, Chelsea changing managers again and Guardiolas last season this sort of feels like our chance.

And yet you know the 1 reason we won’t

I think Kane is starting to realize he has a better shot at winning a title if he returns to Spurs compared to staying with Bayern.

I predict the return of the King this summer!

I'm generally positive about our transfer activities.

There is no doubt that we get more hits than misses these days under Paratici. Even the misses are not catastrophic (would put Johnson in this box).

So whilst I agree that we will not be playing in the 70-90m category for your Olise's, Eze's, Isak's etc. we now do better at identifying the right profiles in the 40-60m range.

Get 4-5 more of those in key positions this summer and we will probably finish top 3 with better cup performances.

After that maybe you add the 70-100m special talent to win you a title.

40m - Gimenez - Striker
70m - Eze - Attacking Mid / Left Wing
30m - Calafiori - Centre back / Left Back
40m - Gray - Right Back / Defensive Mid
Loan - Simons - Right Wing / Left Wing
10m - Carnesecchi - GK
50m - Ugarte - Defensive Mid

+

Bergval - Centre Mid / Attacking Mid / Defensive Mid

240m euro outlay. (Of course made these prices up like I am playing FM)

We spent 250 last summer, though recovered 120. Not sure we can recover close to that this year, but do have European football.

I think Eze and Ugarte are statement signings, Simons on loan smart. Gray will be a star I am sure and Calafiori looks quality.

Gimenez is a risk but the available strikers market is poor.

Keeper seems regarded on the continent after a good loan spell, don’t know too much but assume that’s the vibe we will be looking for.

Yeah this is good mate. This is the kind of window we need. Even if you swap Ugarte for Gallagher and shave 20m off. Also think Gimenez is much lower than 40m and they want Gil too.
