I am not saying Bissouma is perfect. He does have flaws (but for this remit I don't think they are big). We could possibly find a 6 with a more specialist skill set (ie Palhina defensively) But I think his all round skill set - and match with our system - would be hard to recruit easily.

The alternative is to do what Arteta has done this season, where he's used Partey (for tough games for his defending), Jorginho occasionally for his distribution and Rice occasionally as a kind of hybrid.

Just to back up my "on the eye" opinion, here is some metrics for comparison with the 6's above us in the league and a couple of others people have said they'd like.

Nope, there was a loophole.

They will get punished for the Ambramovic stuff though, 100%.

I've only just seen this stuff but the issue was not that they sold their assets, which any club can do, but they didn't get it agreed by the PL. The PL are supposed to approve the sale (market value etc) and have 10 days do approve. When this story broke they PL hadn't approved (Chavs even acknowledged this in their accounts), is there anything in this story from Ornstein as to what happened regarding the approval?

I don't know about Toney, think we should be going for someone more promising. Between him and Richarlison I don't see much difference and I would probably prefer Richarlison in terms of what he delivers for the team.
I honestly don’t think Richy brings anything like what Toney brings to the table. I wouldn’t be unhappy with Toney but I think Gyokeres fits us perfectly. As close to Harry as you’ll get just now in terms of his all round game but he’s a monster when he goes pressing.

Agree with this. I'd rather have Gyokeres and someone lesser than Eze if necessary.

Gyorkeres is a star.

Yeah, I'm pretty relaxed about it all. Vdv, Dragusin, Bergvall, Vicario transfers give me some confidence that we're doing decent legwork on transfers. It's a tough window, we have lots of good players but not many great ones, pretty much each of the front 6 positions could be improved this summer. Striking the right balance and deciding what to prioritise will be important. Hopefully we don't get attacking players without the scope to eventually be better than Kulu, BJ, Rich
I understand that we’ve got our recruitment right but it seems we are building for the future which is great but there needs to be a plan for the present. We need young players that will turn into great players but we 100% need game changers. If we don’t do that we will always be building for the future because when these young guys are recalling hitting the heights and VDV,Romero and Udogie move on we will be starting again. Let’s start buying top fucking players and have a pop at this because the arse is going to fall out city soon,Woolwich will continue to be nearly men,Liverpool could be in a bit of transition and fuck knows about the rest.

Now it might be crap but this is exactly the kind of stunt I expect us to actually do. Someone will come out of no place and sign within a week . Don't buy the Gallagher story at all, dubious about Eze- with the caveat that he sure hangs out with a load of Spurs players- but I expect some Paratici 4-D business and three top notch players I've never heard of all young prospects. We don't do ready to wear.

I agree mate.

We will likely need to have some blind faith as fans with some of the signings because they will be from left field.

Personally enjoy that tbh and hopefully they get them right. BUT at the same time, we need a striker and those don’t usually come from nowhere and I’m honestly dreading the fact that we need to find a special forward player within the bounds of Levynomics and unfortunately a special forward is what we need to get anywhere closer to the teams challenging to win the Prem.

I dont want Gallagher or toney. Damaged goods. Edwards, eze, Gyokeres, giminez and ederson I want. KWP good cover for porro and left back cover for udogie. Also a back up keeper. Forster as third choice keeper. Dives like a plank of wood falling slowly.
