I’m with you except on Gudmondsson, I think he’s on some rape or doesn’t domestic abuse charge. We won’t touch that imo.

Guirassy is cheap and worth a shot for me
Alright I didn't know about that rape thing, just read a couple articles on Google. Yeah probably won't go anywhere near him then...though didn't Biss have a similar thing still hanging over his head when we signed him? If it ain't Gudmundsson, it'll be someone else of that B or C-list ilk, and I'm including Guirassy in that.

Guirassy is definitely B List but he has A List numbers in the Bundesliga

He probably could come to Spurs and put up A list numbers in this system

Who wouldn't? Head and shoulders above the likes of Skipp and Hojbjerg. Great age. Proven in the Premier League. 50 million is also a perfectly reasonable price all things considered. But it wouldn't be a signing that would make you knock one out at home like an Eze or a Sesko. Just a solid, sensible signing.

There isn't a manager in the Premier League that wouldn't like Conor Gallagher in their squad, as much for his attitude and character than his ability.
So your basis is to spend £50M for a player better than skipp and PEH! No wonder we are where we are!

That can’t be right surely? If city abd others are getting done for 3rd party sponsorship then selling assets to a sister company is the same thing.
Technically no, but your right it is the same as what City did in spirit. It is not clear whether the PL approved the transaction for the purpose of PSR but I guess they did.

I mean technically they have sold an asset which is fine but it is worse than you think, they sold the hotel, at an inflated value, but Chelsea kept all the revenues. Essentially is it just a legal fiction that enabled Boehly to pump money into the club.

Gallagher will go to the Euros and Waistcoat won’t tolerate deals getting done during the Euros.

This will be fast or not at all.

England boss Gareth Southgate, speaking on Thursday, insisted he would not prevent his players from discussing transfer whilst on international duty.
‘I’ve never banned players from having discussions. It’s a fact of life, even if transfers don’t complete, talks are ongoing, normally across the summer with players, I’m always there for them
if they want to bounce things off,’ said the national team head coach.

We are in a world where there might have to be deals done quickly, who knows but we’re comfortable with dealing with all those things
It's... It's like you're right there inside his head...

How do you get such access to know EXACTLY what he's about to say next...?

It's almost telepathic...
Are you SURE you're not there spying on the England camp? :walker-scream::kaneear:

Yeah, for some reason, I wasn't asked to sign off on either of those. We got exactly what I expected. Mediocrity.

Paid 3x what either are worth. Crazy. I'll admit Eze is worth more, but I still don't think he's worth 50. He's not world class.
But for £50M don’t think you’ll find many world class players and that depends on your definition. What I do know is that Eze is miles better than what we have atm.
