Reunited with Ange?

BBC
Celtic will consider selling Kyogo Furuhashi this summer and want at least £25m for the Japan forward, 29, who has b.een linked with a move to England. (Football Insider)
Yeah that's right... It would be a reuniting exercise to sign a Japanese player who is almost 30...

There's not one other single reason for pursuing this phenomenal talent with an option of tapping into a marketing 'Opportunity'!!

OK, this may be unfair on Troy, maybe it's the expression on his face, maybe the fact he's only wearing a vest, but that photo immediately reminded me of something...

He's only one small arm movement and a grimace away from this:

Wtf?

"amicable breach of contract"

:mourloopy:

God forbid we should ever have transfer commentators who actually know what words mean. :/ Assume he means 'termination'. Hope it's true, but the wording doesn't exactly give me great confidence... :/
Having had a few experiences involving the negotiation and mutual termination of contracts in the past I too ran a sceptical eye over the wording and was about to post similar.

Midway through typing my post though I decided to research whether or not such an antonym phraseology existed anywhere and was flabbergasted to discover it does........ Breach of Contract Explained: Types and Consequences

Further scrutiny shows the terminology to be prevalent in American literate and no doubt a by-product of such ownership that exists within the PL atm.

Armed with this knowledge I began to think hmmm there be some legs in this and so it turns out to be.

:ange-pray:

The rumous about LCB (can also play as DM), Bastien Meupiyou keep resurfacing so maybe this is one of few rumous that actually got "legs"

Report: Spurs are looking at French centre-back who has one year left on his contract

According to a report in L’Equipe, Tottenham Hotspur have expressed an interest in signing Nantes’ defensive starlet Bastien Meupiyou.
Meupiyou has been seen as a potential future star for a while and it was reported by RMC Sport back in February that Tottenham were watching the youngster closely.

Apparently Solanke has a £65m release clause.
Probably the going rate for a good striker these days unfortunately.

We paid 60m for Richarlison

Hojlund went to united for around 60-70m

Sporting want 80m+ for Gyokeres

I would offer 40-50m and maybe one of our deadwood players if they like any and test their resolve, surely Bournemouth sooner or later will have to sell someone to comply with ffp. Think they only narrowly got off it this year(need to double check that)

Maybe maybe not. There was a loophole in the 22/23 FFP that allowed Chelsea to sell their training ground to another company they own to cover it. The rumours they will sell the women’s team however the rules for 23/24 have been changed and it is the premier league that will now determine if it is a fair sale.

"For the avoidance of doubt, a Club will be in breach of its duty under Rule B.15 if it presents an Associated Party Transaction to the League (pursuant to Rules E.55 – E.77): (i) as a product of a genuine commercial negotiation where, in their reasonable and honest belief, no such genuine commercial negotiations took place; and/or (ii) as having a genuine commercial rationale to the counterparty when they do not hold a reasonable and honest belief that such a genuine commercial rationale exists."

Blueco 22 Properties Limited has only 3 directors, Boehly, Egbhali and Goldstein. Each are also directors of Chelsea Holdings. Boehly is, as we know, the Chairman of Chelsea Holdings. There is no realistic possibility of any "genuine commercial negotiation" and nor is there likely a provable "genuine commercial rationale" to Blueco 22 Properties.

In short for the FFP for the 23/24 season if Chelsea sell the women’s team to themselves the premier league can now decide if the sale was a real market transaction or just internal shenanigans.

If they don’t sell roughly £130m of players they are risking a massive points deduction if the league decides it is just an internal transfer.

How do chavs get away with such blatant manipulation? I mean everyone knows what they are doing. Everton and forest must be right pissed off. Here is a club that had Russian blood money pumped into for years probably breaking all kinds of rules and regs. Then they spend a billion without CL football and turnover no where near their spending. They should throw the book at them and other clubs should boycott buying any of their players to make a stand.
