According to a report in L’Equipe, Tottenham Hotspur have expressed an interest in signing Nantes’ defensive starlet Bastien Meupiyou.
Meupiyou has been seen as a potential future star for a while and it was reported by RMC Sport back in February that Tottenham were watching the youngster closely.
He played for France at youth level reaching both the euro and World Cup finals and is supposed to be fast and strong. 1m91 so tall too and is a ball playing defender. Left footed too so he’s like a van de Ven regen.
If we’re buying him then we need to do what Woolwich did with Saliba and send him back out for 2/3 years to play in France. He is NOWHERE near first team ready.
If they sell Palhinha to Bayern, they most likely will. If PEH accepts though is a totally different story...

However I’m not sure who’s there for that role who is a guarantee. Xavi Simons seems to be the best bet but imagine we’d be far down the queue of teams after him.
