We're going to sign a forward who can "play across all the forward positions" aren't we, and not an actual striker :ange-facepalm2:

About 6. Would become a 9 if we signed an out and out goalscorer because that's how important I think it is to sign one.

Eze and Gallagher, and throwing out some dead wood is an ok window. I'd much rather Eze and Olise, but doesn't look likely.

I do think a fit Richie, with better players around him (e.g. Eze and Gallagher) is a decent no9.

The two obvious questions is leaves are (a) will Biss be any good next season (b) who will play on the right instead of Kulu ... maybe the answer is more Johnson. He is likely to get better after all.

Ross Barkley
Re-signing Cameron Archer
Weston McKennie
Sam Iling Jr

On top of signing Zaniolo and Lenglet on loan last season.

Who the fuck is in charge of their transfers? Monchi still?!

Effect of ffp. Villa has vastly over spent in last couple of years to climb up PL but now reality is they needed to sell their best asset (Douglas Luiiz) bank most of that money/pay off debts etc to meet ffp whilst bringing in players to fill holes in squad irrespective of quality (hence Barclay, McKennie, Illing and re-signing Archer, Lenglet etc.)

Not much different to Jan window, most clubs cannot spend too much money.

Spurs will probably bring in more better quality players than most clubs so our squad will definitely improve, but fans expecting a stellar window will be disappointed imo - until they see other clubs like Villa's window
