Now that Emerson looks set to leave (for AC Milan), these are the realistic RB candidates I would go for:

Vanderson de Oliveira

Micheal Kayode

Lutsharel Geertruida – can play RB and CB. But will he come to be an understudy?

Kyriani Sabbe – still only 18, so it he may not be ready for the EPL yet.

The difficult conversation isn't selling Son, he's 32. We love him but it's always a conversation at this stage if any player's career.

The difficult conversation is how fucked we would be if we sold him and didn't replace him properly.

He's 99% not going this summer but considering how much we need to get done with our forwards, I'd say we would miss Son even more than we did Kane if he went this summer. Not saying we don't do it but we'd need to have a ready to go superstar level player to step in.

He's not going anywhere. They will extend him and max out the his PR value.

Yep this is the argument I always make. In terms of our buying power and the importance of the role he was meant to play it’s a much bigger deal than people realize.
