With the way we play, i think we need a tap-in-merchant on top, who can hold the ball up.

Our most pressing needs for me is a deep laying midfielder of the highest calibre(Rabiot?), and then 1 or 2 wingers.

After that i think we should look at strengthening the fullback positions, striker, and maybe another goalkeeper

His surgery and those issues are why we should sell, coupled with the fact his touch is atrocious and ill suited to the intricate way we try and play

Have you looked at the leagues that French team players are in? 25 players selected. 7 play in Ligue 1, and 4 of them are at PSG. Everyone else plays in a real league that doesn't have janitors and waiters filling out their squads. Ligue 1 is awful.

Sure but I don't think they would have told him that when he arrived. So as far as he was concerned he'd have been playing second choice CF to Kane, he played more on the left IIRC.

Anyway he's not good enough as the first choice CF for a PL team looking for top 4, never has been IMO.

His choices have to be, be second choice or find another club.

For all the back and forward on Levy we have on this site, the latitude and time he afforded to Hitchen seemed odd at the time and even worse in hindsight.

The structure of club feels night and day to where it did just a few years back.

I agree with this. His loan was a total fuck up and felt for the lad. He would have been good to have about at the end of last season to give him more time. We’ve hardly saw him but the noises came out that his finishing in training was brilliant and Ange was impressed. Get him playing in cup games and see what he’s got. If not,get him to a club where he’ll play every week till Xmas.
 
After watching him a little and looking at the data I'd prefer Doue over Eze and I reckon he fits the winger role better.

Wilhoft-King looked decent in his first year, out injured for close on a year, has struggled for game time since then as he's competing with Hall, Abbott, Olusesi and Kyerematen. Declined a pro contract at Spurs so left at end of his scholarship.

Only offered a 2 year contract by ManCity suggesting he's there to fill a hole in their youth production line. Not sure its a great choice for him although no doubt he's paid well.
