POK said that his wife has a business in Hampstead, and that they like living there, so it’s unlikely that he would want to go back to Wales. At this moment anyway

POK also said that the club will leave it to Davies to decide what he wants to do. They’re happy for him to stay if he wants.
Ben has been a fantastic servant for THFC. Totally reliable despite not starting every week.
If he stays fit I imagine we will extend his contract.

You prattled on about goals and assists mate, him scoring a few tap ins and setting up a few goals doesn't change the fact he's a technically poor player who is not good enough for a team that wants to compete for trophies.

Your understanding of football seems limited to looking at the scoresheet and deciding who's good based on that so best we don't converse.
baffling how you can watch spurs game and think that brennan johnson is good enough for us to compete....then again, some of these lot dont even know what a football being kicked should look like lol. so it does make sense!

and it never will be, hes not a good enough footballer naturally. for a player so poor at the football side of things your stats need to be exceptionally good in G/A! because his deficiencies in the actual football side of things will drag the team!
I’m not writing him off yet, that’s crazy. He could hit 10 goals easily if we buy Gyokeres and Williams with the Kane money

Been reported before, he was offered a pro contract but declined - looked decent up until about 18 months ago when he got injured for almost a year and hasn't got back to same level yet but now has competition from Abbott, Hall, Kyerematen and the younger Olusesi so likely thought he was better off leaving.

ManCity let go a lot of players last year and look a little thin (our u21s beat the 4-0 at City) so he's likely only there for a year or two to fill a hole in their production line. Has a 2 year contract - short given most lads will be on 3 or 5 year contracts.
Everything has already been agreed upon, and City are finalising the paperwork. He is expected to join their youth ranks where he will look to develop further and given his potential, it won’t be a surprise if he manages to break into their first team in the near future.

After watching Toney take his penalty last night, I can't deny my desire for us to sign him has increased substantially.

Yeah he seems like a prick, but he is a professional footballer, and strikers probably need a bit of prick in them to be the best they can be.

Fucking hope not.

All this shit about "great servant" this is not the military it is elite sport and Davies is not good enough for where we want to be. Thanks and good luck - an extension would be ludicrous.
In an ideal world Ben Davies would not play a single game for THFC. But injuries and suspensions happen and when they did Ben has stepped up to the plate and never let us down.
