He is good, but he shines primarily at Brentford as a pure counter-attacking threat. Not sure how he’d adapt into a more possession-based team.
Very good/great players always find a way.

Mate of mine who used to reside in Troyes saw him live a few times when he was still a youngun debuting in the pro game. Said you could tell the kid had something about him...wasn't afraid to take on defenders, to try & create openings with tricks, to get a tackle in on older statesmen. Showed good attitude, looked willing to play for the team & learn. My pal said he also remembers him scoring a few crackers.

I know a few dudes from Cameroon and they confirmed that. They love seeing him in action for their country, actually wish he had more caps and said if their FA wasn't such a shambles, the team would be ways stronger and Mbeumo would be the leader of the pack.

Why are you comparing Mbuemo to Werner? Not the same kind of player and don’t play the same position.
It's a fluid game these days, especially under a HC like the big fella. Still, they're both attacking players who spend most their time out wide...the German on the left, BM on the right. With Werner's loan extended...and he ain't on tiny wages...there's no denying it makes it trickier for us to get other such attackers in.

We ain't - and defo shouldn't - give up on 50mil BJ one year after getting him in. Kulu is still young and plenty versatile. Sonny is a club legend and still a quality option on the LW, though he's likely gonna spend more and more time at CF. Richy is a question mark for many a reason. Then there's the kids (especially Moore & Lanks) we oughta try and integrate.

Sorry if you're a Timo fan, but feels the most logical to target when talking about bringing a (superior) talent like Mbeumo in. Werner being here don't mean Levy won't sign off on another 'winger', sure...but it sure would be easier if we'd not given him another season.

Gray will cover PEH minutes and the hope is Spence will cover the RB slot? LB could probably be covered by a combination of VDV, Spence, Donelly and Davies but ideally I would like a player that could play LCB/LB

Sounds like a bit of a fudge. We need some proper defenders in, every game we play next season will be a "must win ;) " pretty much. We can't really afford a drop off in standards.

Something is going on with him when the structure of previous agreements are being changed.

This is sure to be the wonder window we've all been waiting on.

I'm sure these 1 or 2 signings (if we're lucky) will be real superstars that will make the rest of the league sit up and take notice of poor little Spurs.

(Oh would you look at that, another disagree from the Forum prick.)
