This. You can't just import any good ball player into DM and assume it'll work, look at how Gray did today for instance. Hardest position on the pitch to play bar none and we've never seen Romero receive the ball with his back to goal, let alone anything else to do with the role.
Tbh with lo celso i dont think he could handle demands of premier league. Lamela was the same. Started the season well and by october was injured.

I don't really understand the angle from Athletico Madrid though- seems like they are plenty good at developing or aquiring CM talent that they shouldn't need to spend so much for someone that isn't a clear upgrade. That and Chelsea also escape FFP jail once again. Either way I'm cool with it as I don't really want to see him at our team either.

From January we were committed to signing Bergvall. It's not like we could just decide the day before his 18th Bday not to send his club the 8m. The deal was done in January. Don't complicate things. The deal happens and is counted when the deal is announced and the players takes pictures in Spurs kit.
