For me these are our 1st 11 and 2nd 11.

Clearly the squad has space for an Eze type figure, a backup LB, a Neto level right sided player and a CF.

4 signings needed, although you're looking at £200m to secure the levels we want.

Realistically that ain't happening in 1 summer so get 2 in, bite the bullet until next window/ summer and get the rest of the work done.

the way its looking, well be lucky to get 1 signing that actually improves the first 11 right away. if we could get 2, (which would both be forwards as i think it would be very hard to get a player that improves midfield or defence now), we would be looking healthy. cheisa/neto and a striker would get the fanbase feeling optimistic and in good spirits for the start.

Just Chiesa or Jonathan David and I would be incredibly happy. I don't want us to spend a crazy amount on some of these average players. Chiesa would add class across our front three while David would add athleticism. As it stands, unless Solomon or Moore get moved, we've already got a very full compliment of attackers- we don't really need more than 1 signing.

I know it seems a bit melodramatic to be hoping for only 1 more signing, but if you do recall, we had a very memorable summer xfer window where we made NONE. The precedent has been set and the bar is low.

I suggest preparing for no new transfers in as a base case. At least that way you won't be driven utterly mad by Levy-ball.

It's easy to see that our front players missed a fair few weeks last season lol

43 goals and 32 assists isn't great, but without comparing to other teams there's no reference to how 'isn't great' that really is

We could really do with a chart of only forwards and their output across the league for last season. The above table doesn't include James Maddison for example (g4/a9) as he isn't a 'forward' so to speak

Smells like a huge chance for Moore this season.

He is a very good player for what he is, non-stop running and fighting.

I kind of get the feeling that this ability is underrated by modern fans in the same way passing 20 years ago used to be. Remember fans saying ‘’what does Modric do, he just passes it around’’.

Now it’s ‘’what does Gallagher or Onana do they just tackle, track runners and press but their passing is average’’.

Every morning he wakes up to his two super model girlfriends in his 96 bedroom, 400 bathroom house and looks out the window of his estate and sees his 5000 super car collection🙄🤣🤣🤣 champions of Europe they know what they are….

The hesitation over Donley moving on loan makes me think if he gets through the Bayern game tomorrow and does alright, we may keep him on as LB depth.

Which in turn will probably rule out signing a CB (as Romero, VDV, Dragusin and Davies should realistically be fine until Jan atleast)
Spence can play RB/LB. Assume he will be first backup if not sold

I presume our resident take a bullet for ENIC boys are still claiming Levy has removed himself from all transfers and it’s nothing to do with him. Other than when they want to spin it that he stepped in and saved the day like Porro, which in reality means, he would not let his employees pay the rate asked but will agree it supposedly himself . Which kind of nukes the he has no involvement narrative , his fingerprints seem all over this window .
Indeed but then would he be willing to stump up £65M for an average at best 27 yr old CF? Mind you he stumped up £47.5M for BJ on someone’s recommendation which was far more than what Brentford has agreed.
