Would you say £65m for solanke is more, or less mad than £60m for richarlison?
For Watford and Everton, he got 5, 13, 13, 7 & 10 PL goals.

Until last season, Solanke was well behind Richarlison, who himself wasn't at all spectacular. But last season he was much better than any prior Richarlison season.

Here's the catch though. They're the same age. If we're forgiving Solanke for prior seasons, surely we have to forgive Richie and give him another shot? He showed some level of promise last season.
I'd sit him down and ask him where his head and body is actually at right now.
Richie AND Solanke as options would be a statement. Swapping one for another is probably just a sideways step that only really helps the HG quota.
The issue with Richarlison is his fitness, not his performance.

I agree to an extent, that's why I think prioritise an eze over a solanke.

If we get both then it'll be decent.

If we got osimhen plus eze, people would think this club has turned a corner.

For now, it really hasn't its just business as usual more of the same.
If we don’t go for eze bcos of the payments how about involves from SP? I said last year we should have gone in for him. Real quality player.

We seem to be in a weak negotiating position. Bournemouth want to keep Solanke and so insist we pay the asking price. We want to shift certain players like Royal and end up getting a low fee. Now we all know Levy is a good negotiator but by holding out we end up not doing the deal. We do not want another situation like last season when we get rid of a player after the window has closed in uk and cannot replace.

The head doctor has gone too. Hope that helps our terrible medical department.

It's not just in recruitment either that big changes have occurred. Spurs' long time Head of Medicine and Sports Science Geoff Scott has left the club after 20 years. The New Zealander had become a familiar face at matches as a physio and at Hotspur Way.

I initially read that as the club shrink!! Doh!! 🙈

Post of the day.

You don't need to be an expert to see that Richy is a busted flush, injury prone and even when fit cannot hold the ball up worth a shit.

Bitches constantly, and looks fucked after the first thirty minutes. As bad a signing money wise as N'Dombele.

Mistake made, move on and get rid.
Biggest issue for me with Richarlison is how little he is actually available. Seems to pick up injury after injury.
