Given the lack of quality RWs on the market, I wouldn't mind prioritising a back up left footed defender (LCB and inverted LB cover) and a back up keeper for the rest of the window.

If Richarlatan wasn’t an injury prone donkey we wouldn’t have signed Solanke. That much should be crystal clear.
Imo iraola improved solanke. Top manager in the making. Keep an eye on him. Potential manager for us in the future. Improves players like poch did.

Tbh i though sanchez best game for us was chelsea away when we beat them 3-1 at the bridge.
A lot of the problem, I feel, is that certain people think they already know everything there is to know.
Go back to the start of the window, and I would have been one of those thinking that Solanke was underwhelming, but another poster on here (can't remember who so forgive me, whoever you are) posted up some facts that made me think my first reaction might just be because my knowledge of Solanke was minimal, so I spent some time educating myself on him, by watching him play last season on footy full.
What I saw completely revised my opinion of him. Couple that with his stats, and I was completely sold on him. He's a perfect fit for our brand of Football. Iriola showed that if you play him in the right system, he will score plenty of goals. Build up, link up, finishing, he's got every attribute you'd want. Top that off with his work rate and you have a very good striker.
He ticks all the boxes when it comes to the eye test and statistics, but far too many posters will comment on what they "think" they know, rather than educating themselves properly.
We won’t sign a left back mate. Spence will be the cover and VDV if really needed. I’m happy with Spence being that guy or even pushing Udogie to start. Both not great defenders but great runners with the ball and are ridiculous athletes. No point spending money when we have Spence looking like he’s up for it.

I wasn't talking about using Davies as LB. Cover for LCB should VDV need to go left. However, I think it'll be Spence that covers there if required.
Nor do I think we don't need another LB, just that it's not a pressing need right now. Maybe I wasn't totally clear on that in my previous post.
From my own perspective, immediate needs are a wide player, and I've been consistent on that since the window opened, and a creative midfielder to keep Maddison on his toes. My own choices would be Chiesa and Eze, but not fussed as long as we get players that can do what I believe those 2 can.
After that, yes I'd look at improving LB and maybe even the DM role, but the jury is out on that, for me, until we see whether Biss or Bentancur make that their own, as I'm not too sure Gray is quite ready for that yet.
