So you believe we made a bid for Neto?

Yes.

Then you believe we had an interest in Doue?

Yes.

Do you also believe we had 3 deals with the green light and the club was waiting on other parties?

No chance. 😂

If you do then for sure you can’t be trying to claim Kingsley Coman has ever been at the forefront of the plan?

Plans don't always come together.

If Solanke and Neto were the offensive plan. Then we done well to achieve half of it. Not much we can do when Jorge Mendes is sniffing out Chelsea for more money and higher wages though. That's the game.

We don't know who was on any sort of list for wingers. We don't know what the back up option was. We don't know if Neto WAS the back up option behind Doue.

Ultimately, Ange wants specific characteristics in his signings. We may all want a 1 v 1 winger, but sadly not all of those pretty 1 v 1 wingers want to come to a Spurs. And that's a pretty big thing for the manager. That they WANT to play for the club

Unfortunately, this makes perfect sense and explains exactly why we haven’t been able to get the winger we need.

What does Scott Munn fucking do if Levy is negotiating transfers? And what happened to Levy stepping away from the football side of things?

Did anyone ever believe that?

So then we are agreed that Coman is a late August panic move for an available mercenary because we couldn't do the deals we wanted to do??

What are we even doing here?

But let's be honest, the Coman story is probably bullshit and we aren't signing him.

Raphinha I could almost believe we are waiting for but wages and him wanting to stay at Barca make it hard to believe.

Kubo and Adingra both fit the profile I can believe us going for personally. And I'd still be very happy with either.

Depends what you mean by panic move.

Signing a winger that suits what we need, regardless of whether he was first choice or not, isn't something I'd consider a panic move.

Signing a winger for the sake of getting another offensive player in that doesn't really strengthen our starting eleven is something I'd consider a panic move.

Based on what you're saying though, it sounds like any offensive player we get in now will be a panic move because it's late August and we've needed a winger all summer. Unless it someone you personally like.

I just want a winger. I don't care if he was our fifth choice on the list. If he improves our starting eleven and gives the team something it lacks, get them in.

Don't know enough about Coman, I'd prefer we went for Kubo or Adingra over Raphinha. I get that I'm probably in the minority on that though.
Think I'd prefer Raphina on loan over every option (failing that Comon on loan).
Kubo I'm not sold on, Adringa v.good young player imo but maybe the board are not totally sold to the point of forking out 40m and believe Moore will turn out to be a star, meaning a loan of an already proven player who will make a difference immediately is the way forward?

Fairly injury prone and had a minor heart problem 2021...and he's on €320,000 a week.
Besides, he's another right-footed RW (on top of Son, Solomon, Moore, Werner, Johnson)

The wages dished out from other big clubs are fucking insane.
