Yep, Jonathan David seems kind on unlogical option as we speak.

He does not seem to fit into winger position, not fast and dynamic enough for that.
And for striker we have now Solanke, Richie and Lankashear + Son as an option.

If there is any logic in signing him, it would be for questionable reasons - 1 year left on contract, thus available for cheaper + commercial potential from North American market...

THOUGH if we could sell Richie for like 50 mil and replace him for 40 mil David, I would be all over that deal. I'd prefer David as 2nd option for striker compared to Richie every day of the week.

David is 24 (!)
23/24 - 26 goals , 9 assists (35)
22/23 - 26 goals, 4 assists (30)
21/22 - 19 goals, 0 assists (19)
20/21 - 13 goals, 5 assists (18)

That actually is pretty fucking impressive. Just 24 and with 4 years in Lille, he has had two ~20 goal contribution seasons, topped off with 30 and 35 goal contibutions. Every year more than previous.

So I'd also be okay with moving Richie for 30 and getting David for 40-45 mil looking at that....

Not posting anti-Levy posts 24/7 is not ‘Levy circle-jerking’. In fact, I’ve not seen anyone ‘circle jerking’ him. Just you and your ilk seem to think anyone not as fucking miserable as you lot are all kissing Levy’s ring piece. Grow up.

I haven’t been defending Levy. I’ve just got enough of a life to not want to waste it moaning about something I can’t change. And btw the grass isn’t always greener…

I’ll be supporting the club/players, like I always do.

Transfers and our owners go hand in hand though, you can't the separate the two.

Unless you think Ange sets the budget and does all the negotiations.

Don’t get me wrong btw. I don’t lump you in with the few boring posters who ONLY slag off Levy. You at least have interesting things to say on a variety of other topics.
