It’s got to the point where it feels like Ally just regurgitates the news he reads from elsewhere now and has no inside take from the club at all. Maybe he never did anyway.
I could be wrong though.
He announces loans and such sometimes, and he rubbishes news often, he definitely has some sources.
He strikes me that even if he did have some inside gossip, he wouldn't want to ruin the positive relationship he has with the club. He has nothing to gain by breaking news first, but he can be seen as reliable. Then the club may give him information to release which then clears up obvious nonsense.
The chocolate covered custard creams are even better IMO.
