I like this post. There's been a few people on here saying we should follow the Dortmund model.
This post describes, far more eloquently than me why we shouldn't.
The Dortmund model is essentially an academy breeding young players to go on to help other teams achieve success.
They're basically a bunch of losers who could and should achieve much more considering their fan base and catchment area.
No thanks.
We would do well to match Dortmunds success in the last decade

They only have Bayern to really compete with consistently, the Bundesliga has one powerhouse. there's 4 or 5 in the premier League.

We look like we have bought quite well but there is a little of the famous clip with Eric Morecambe and Andre
Previn, where he says he is playing all the right notes but not necessarily in the right order about us.

I hope I'm wrong.

This is the thing, he is a good player.

At times, he's been very good.

Why would we write of a good player.

See the same arguments regarding Chiesa.

They've had injuries but both would improve us and that's the bottom line

No he wouldn't

He's never played in an inverted role in his life, he's picking up a fuck load of injuries the older he gets as well.

Last good consistent season came under Tuchel ffs and he's on £200k a week, as if he's gonna be motivated to play for us for less wages lol
