The future is now.

I’m all for it. Fuck it. Let’s turn these kids into the next dynasty of English football.

Best way to do that is give them a crack.

It will need a couple of things though.

1) Patience from us, the fans.

Yeah, I get all the arguments, ‘most expensive tickets in the world’ and all that - but nothing else has worked.

2) Courage from the board

It won’t all be good times and good feelings. May even mean at points this season we’re drifting towards midtable, but they have to stick with Ange when that happens.

This approach is high risk, high reward - but that reward doesn’t happen now, might not even be next season!

If this is the route, stick to it. We can’t keep flip flopping between strategies.

So your chart says that Bissouma is much better in most areas ?

Is the data for Bissouma skewed to include only his best matches or is it a genuine take over many matches, question is due to Bissouma's very variable form/success over last season ?
What it probably means, is that the famous "eye test" is a load of old Bullshit.

We'd have only seen a small sample of Gomes whereas we see every minute of Bissouma.

Look at the noise after drawing a game, no chance people are going to be patient, the moment we go on a bad run it will be unbearable and I don't think the board have the courage to stick by their man. Although there is no 'fan favourite' coach available to hire to keep the fans off their backs for a few months

The loud minority, mate.

Millions of Yiddos, a few kicking off on here and Twitter isn’t the real picture of the fanbase.

We've been patient. We've waited almost a quarter of a century for ENIC to make us elite.

We are elite.

Over 40,000 association football clubs in England and we’re lucky enough that ours is comfortably one of the best 8!

Count your blessings you weren’t born in Oldham or Grimsby or somewhere. 🙏

Perspective.
We don't win anything.
We don't look like winning anything.
We don't look like we're trying to win anything.
We are Oldham or Grimsby with a big stadium and more TV games.

This is the point. The objective of any club be it Tottenham, Oldham or Grimsby is to achieve a goal, so would be promotion for them. Thats the point of football. I can take not winning things but its the not really trying that pisses me off. I like some of the things we've done this summer with the clear out and the youngsters coming in but no one can seriously claim we've done enough to mount any sort of challenge. At best its hoping to nick 4th (i think even that is optimistic) and get lucky with cup draws.
