The obvious dept hole is left sided defence.

If Udogie gets injured….. I’d be fairly concerned. Who steps in Spence or Davies?

Spence but we are seeing that Gray is definitely a #6 in the rotation so Spence is our rotation RB that covers LB when needed. Fine for the prem and 1 game a week but not when Europe and the Cups hit the schedule.

Really think that left sided defender is an important add. Just remains to be seen if the club agree or if they want to wait it out for the one they want.

This line about waiting for opportunities doesn't sound like Ange at all. He wants players that want to be here and they have identified. Unless it's a loan, I can't see him just taking a punt on a player that becomes available late.

Tbh i dont think we need another right back. Spence has stepped up. Actually think spence is a better defender than porro but porro is a better all round player, particularly his passing and shooting. One of our best passers porro imo.

this is the type of hyperbolic fan nonsense that would see him start PL games already, only to turn on him when he is chewed up.

Yep. We know Moore is a special talent, hitting 1-2 G\A a game, but it’s a huge gap the physicality of the men’s premier league.

Moore shouldn’t be compared to Odobert, Gray, Bergvall or Vuskovic, they have all had a lot of men’s football, are older and in a few cases like Bergvall and Vuskovic physical freaks.

At the same time he isn’t really in the Donley, Dorrington, Hall, Lankshear category or further back Kane, Walker-Peters, Edwards, Maduake Category. He will probably skip U21 football altogether. By the sounds of some around the club he might be the most gifted player to come through our academy in my lifetime.

When you look at Foden/Palmer/Saka all talented at young level but not till 18-20 making the big impression at men’s level. He should be left alone to develop at the right pace, we will see him soon enough.

He's already played U21 football this season and will likely continue (though mostly EFL Cup against higher calibre teams)

Yeh for game time but he seems to be spending more time with the senior team. It might be Moore is maybe a bit too good for U21 but not quite physically ready for seniors. It will be interesting to see how the club handle him but fans shouldn’t expect him to be lighting up things this early.
