City always have weak(er) points in their squad, just as we have - it's almost impossible to cover every eventuality with 25 players.
You are probably right in terms of a back up GK as the wages would be pretty low but the situation with the lefty defender, maybe the wages and who the "right player" would be definitely would come into the equation IMO.
