Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Defoe lost half his game time waiting to see if Modric was okay, would have easily won 5-0 had he come on 2 mins earlier as planned :defoe2:

That was the pitts :defoe:
Can't really do much against a team waiting in their half for 90 minutes and occasionally emerging in hope of a fucking corner. Just glad not to be following that amount of negativity week in week out, Martin O'neil being a 'fantastic manager'. 65% possession for Spurs say's it all really :coys: COME ON CITEH :vdvcry:

This is the shittest game of football i've ever seen (and I used to go to non-league games every week).

Is there any point even having a fucking team if you're just gonna stand on the edge of your own area blocking shots, and hope you catch a free-kick or corner on the counter. Cunts.

Totally agree. A fucking disgraceful way to play at home. You'd think those cunts were fighting to stay up the way they clung onto that point.

BUT, in saying that, we should've done a hell of a lot more to break them down. Agreed with team line-up at beginning of match but, once that cunt 'arry could see how Sunderland were set up/playing, he should've been bolder in his subs/tactics at half-time. Why wait till 60 odd mins to make a change? Don't know about you guys, but I'm getting tired of his tactical ineptitude and over-cautiousness - almost would've rather we lost and actually went for it a bit more than the congested way we played.

And 'arry - tell Bale to stick to the fucking LEFT! Had enough of his ineffectual 'roaming' to last a lifetime. ARGGGGGHHHH!

At least we didn't lose it in the last minute but I thought we should have had Lennon on from the start.

As long as City do us a favour it wasn't a bad result. I don't know why people are surprised Sunderland set up that way or that Foy can't referee.

Unfortunately it is on us to overcome that and I thought Sandro, Ade and VdV failed to step up to be honest.

I don't get why everyone's saying we were shit.

Fuck, i'm genuinely annoyed and pissed off at how shit and negative Sunderland were.

Are you serious? We were very poor. Some serious Palacious-esque passing, clueless and uncreative. Not one of our players (baring defenders) could you seriously give 7 out of 10. Granted, Sunderland were disgracefully negative, but we have to do more to break these teams down, show more guile and craft, and be disciplined in actually sticking to our positions.

So frustrating.

There is no way to break down teams like that except scoring a freak 30-yarder or smashing long balls forward in the hope one of them drops to a striker. We've got nobody up top who can head the ball, so it was inevitable we weren't going to score when they lined up like that.

We couldn't play our passing game either because every time one of ours touched the ball he had some fucking cunt smashing him to the floor.

I honestly think all this free roaming shit is slowing down our play. I gather that the defenders and central midfielders have to take some time to look up and track where Bale and VdV have gone walkabout.

I take your points on board, I really do. But there were still too many players out there who under-performed. And, if we'd played with some genuine width and two up-front in the second half (instead of letting the clock just tick away) I feel we would've carved out a chance or two.

Was very frustrating seeing us play right into their hands near the end of the game. Just passing it about casually in our half then punting it forward desperately. Exactly what the wanted and we gave it to them.

I don't understand how anyone can do slag, them for their tactics, it's up to us to beat them, not up to them to roll over....

That was so fucking dull. With all the hype around Sunderland, you'd expect them to come and try and win it instead of trying not to lose. If there was one game I expected us not to win though, it was this. not losing was important, and we still have 3rd in our sights, here's hoping city get back on track tomorrow.

Spengy means?

For what it's worth (fuck all), I think we were ok. Sandro was shite going forward but good defensively. Ade had little help. Bale was pretty threatening, as we're Rafa and Luka. Defensively, no worries.

Not the best we've played but a fuck of a lot better than some games recently.

Some pretty sloppy passing.

I agree about the sloppiness may having something to do with players roaming about. Walker had a good game (i thought) and I genuinely think that some of that comes down to the fact that players know where he is going to be.
