They've made the decision that Takai won't be loaned out because he's injured. Vuskovic has played at a higher level for the last 2 seasons and physically looks in much better shape. I have watched Takai play and he looks like he needs a loan, there's been no update on his recovery time, could be weeks, could be months. Frank has mostly played Davies at LB in preseason, sees him as backup LB depth.

No sense in jumping to that conclusion right away. Just because Richy and Kudus are the only "attack minded" players starting, doesn't mean we will not put in an attack. Porro and Spence are attacking defenders, Sarr has scored goals and our set pieces have improved with Romero and Vdv at the same time playing.
I'm happy to setup defensive. Under Ange we played attacking almost every time and still struggled to score against good teams. Why not change it up and see what happens?
