THST gets answers over West Ham game scheduling through Freedom of Information request

Nice article from the trusts web site that tries to provide some answers to the whole fiasco (which no one else has tried to do so credit to the trust for trying to inform the fans). No mention of the Peter Pan show being a concern so I think the club can be absolved of any blame as well. The Premier league and Sky asked for the game to be moved, so as the premier league jump as high as Sky tell them to, I'd say the blame lies with Sky.

Personally I think the 4 games in 8 days schedule (with a FA cup game soon after) is ridiculous and puts a tremendous strain on the teams not to mention our wallets!

It was scheduled (as are most shows like this) long before the Premier League fixtures. A quick Google suggests it was publicly announced on the 10th of April. It's the club's fault for not having done their homework, seen that as a likely issue and asked for an away game.

I think it's really bad that this game has been changed due to Sky, it should have been moved back to the Saturday once it could no longer be on the Sunday.

However, on the pitch it may help us. Gives us extra rest vs Swansea. And- I just realised- West Ham play at the same time as us. So they don't have an advantage. In fact I would say that it would probably benefit us, as we have a stronger squad and, I would strongly guess, a fitter squad, than West Ham. If anything it only inconveniences us for the Wimbledon game, which is not perfect but should be manageable.
