I was reading a forum of theirs after the first match and I have never seen such a group of fans so confident of getting through after being 3-1 down. It is was kind of nauseating reading actually.

Exactly, why would you not? The club should always be above any player or manager, and that includes our thoughts on them. Notably one of his most outspoken critics, Doom Funk, was on here afterwards and you could tell that the win meant something, the prospect of winning means something, moreso than the crusade to get him out. That other people couldn't celebrate in that win because of their deep frustrations over his tenure I find genuinely sad. I have shared those frustrations, but if we win that final I will legitimately forget all and I will have mostly positive thoughts on the season (because of one really significant positive) which is mad but also how football should be
