Match The Bodø Affair - Part Two: Bodø/Glimt of Nordland vs The Mighty Tottenham - 2000hrs 8th May 2025 - UEFA Europa League Semi Final Leg 2

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Tbh has anyone of our wingers scored a goal like that one adeji scored. Could never see Johnson score one like that!

Although a lot of fans on TFC seem to call Johnson a winger, I think he's plays more of an 'inside right' or support striker role - that's why he often pops up at right post and scores a fair number of goals (last season his role was wider which is why he got more assists and fewer goals).

ATM the wide play is supposed to be provided by RB Porro to go down the right and cross from there - although Porro has cut in and scored the odd goal.

Odobert is a winger, although he can also play centrally, and if he had been fit for longer this season I think we'd have seen more goals from the wing, both left and right.

Hard work and battling :davieshmm: when was the last Spurs team renowned for those qualities?

Don't let the media fool you. The B/G players have a lot of respect for Tottenham. That comment from Sjøvold after the game in London was extremely disrespectful. He regret that himself. His team-mates made it clear that it was an unwise and disrespectful thing to say when you have been outplayed and lost 3-1. He was probably fired up after that 3-1 goal.

No matter how much the players have 'readied' themselves for this opening 15, it's going to be faster than they expect. Gonna have to weather the storm early and often.

Nervous as hell, but still think we sneak out of there 1-2 to Bodo today, 3-2 on aggregate.

Whatever the onslaught refuse to believe we won't create chances. We always need a few to score, but this has us scoring 2 written all over it. Even without Son and Maddison there are goals in this side, from open play.

If they get 4 and then 5 to beat us, or take us to penalties, then strike a life.

If Johnson ducks out of everything tonight, he should be ashamed of himself.

Wouldn't be a shock when the line up is announced solanke won't be in it. Ange to say he trained last night didn't feel right or felt something. Reports were he was limping when walking into the team hotel last night. Only saying what I saw.
