I've got a bad feeling about this game, been building all day 
It started out I think as only one team per city being allowed to play in it and it was used to promote City Fairs. Cities would often pick their best players from different teams. So you had a London X1 a Vienna X1 etc. It did change as time went on but it wasn’t a great competition. UEFA doesn’t even recognise the Fairs Cup prior to 1971 as being part of a sides European Record. (Woolwich won it in 1970!)
Let's hope we can finish it in 90, the idea of 120 min and penalties will just about finish me off, I think.
