We need to start beating some top sides, regardless of competition. You don’t do that if you never play them. Progressing here lets us do that.

Nothing against Solanke but he is no poacher that's for sure. Not sure he has a natural instinct for goal and as a club we need that kind of player, as well as what Solanke provides.
They benefited from a no-call on a Ferguson penalty...woulda been squeaky bum time otherwise. Now they are playing freely...shame.
We beat plenty of top sides under Southgate. And the games we did lose (France, Spain) it was always by one single goal.

Go out and beat some and win the nations league. This team is more than capable. The talent is absolutely staggeringly good. So much depth.
That's only because we had a manager who wasn't good enough or capable of making game winning or game changing decisions in the biggest moments. Tuchel has shown he can do that, at least at club level. We should be making semi-finals every tournament now. It's down to Tuchel to ultimately help us win two games of football for a trophy.
