But what other country has a stack of great strikers? You won’t find many better than Watkins and Toney on the bench of the vast majority of other sides this World Cup.
Harry Kane is the GOAT.
A so called top 5 nation should have at least one comparable backup, England have Kane (who TBF is the best in the world, his goal record speaks for itself) then a massive drop to the next one down.
Toney simply for selling out and playing his football in that farmers league should be nowhere near the England squad.
Watkins is one of the better backup number 9’s you’ll find. The drop off is only so big because Kane is arguably the best player in the world right now, not just the best number 9.
