Match The mighty Tottenham Hotspur v. Plastic chavs

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

football is a funny game.

we win that, which we could have, and we go 2 wins from 2 games, people would be creaming themselves, excited for the new season, first game at wembley, first win etc.

but because we lost, which we didn't deserve to, we need to strengthen the squad, Lloris isnt good enough and Wanyama is shit.

I watched from the 60th minute (work's a cunt). Wanyama looked off the pace and gave away possession for that second goal. But Big Vic has been mighty since he joined us - just an off day for him.

We need a another forward and a creative midfielder in the squad.

This is gonna be horrible season. We won't win any of the big "home" games because Wembley will never really be our home. If that game's at WHL we win 4-1. It was mistake going there. MK Dons would have been a better choice.

Honestly, that is fucking annoying but it's just a case of dominating a team who were very fortunate to get the two goals they did.

As far as 'Wembley woes' go - yes, the result was poor but I don't think the performance was.

Side note: Chelsea got arsefucked by Woolwich early last season and still won the league. Do you think we'd lose that with Davinson Sanchez as an option or with attacking recruitments available? I don't.

That was frustrating. I think Chelsea came with the right tactics, foul foul foul, close down to stop us picking out the crosses. No guts to go toe to toe and try to play. That's what you have to do when you face a team that is better than you. We didn't seem to get any luck with the bounce of the ball today which is just one of those things.

For me, the substitution was a mistake. I agree with putting Son on but taking Dier off was a mistake and we ended up with Dele on the left wing most the time. I don't understand why we did that.

It's not the result I wanted, or expected, not happy about it. I suppose with feet on the ground though we have just as many points as Chelsea and have got that game out of the way. We still have Burnley though and we won't lose to them like Chelsea did. We also have another game at Chelsea later in the season and get our revenge then. Cunts.

Wanyama was awful today, and I am not just saying that because of his mistake for the goal. Worst I have seen him play.

He just wasn't fit enough

Probably showed enough in training but not match fit

Dier wasn't great either and neither was Dele or Tripps

Bad day at the office but we still deserved something from the game

Gary Neville " a famous victory"

cunt who was commentating

" football is amazing Conte has had to piece together a team"

" a champions response"

it's pathetic that we have to hear this much bias Chelsea got lucky today and Have spent well over 100 million Sky are making out David just slated Goliath.

Lloris does have errors in him. Unfortunately, he lost it for us. Falls on him really.

Weak links in a game that requires pace, quickness of thought and strength today were Wanyama and Lloris.

In all honesty Chelsea's game plan worked like it does against us. Thought Jan was top class today. Dier will be pushing Wanyama for DM very soon on that big pitch.

We'll be fine, just a slight dent in our season which every team will face.

Come on the boys, onwards and upwards
