Match The Mighty Tottenham Hotspur vs West Ham United

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Glad I took a punt two weeks ago at 80/1.

(Wasn't that confident so went for each way )

Feeling pretty good about my punt on Kane for PFA POTY at 100/1 a few weeks back. And yes, I did put it up here in case anyone agreed and wanted in on the price. All I got was one, "he hasn't got a chance". Best price now is 22/1 best as I can tell :levywhoa: Still decent, the way we and Kane are going.

Hey, I am just trying to keep people feet on the ground when the going is good. Yes, we are playing beautify at the moment. Yes, today's win was tereffic. Yes, I am happy tonight Yes, I can see that we are just four points off the top of the league now ... a league topped by Leicester City. I can say that I am excited about the coming season ahead.

I make no apologies for saying that Spurs challenging for or winning the league is silly. Naturally, I will look like a total pillock when we are parading the Premier League trophy around WHL in May. Add to that, I really don't understand why you decided to suggest we would be in a relegation battle.

Your nick is appropriate here. FFS!!! OH FFS!!!!

It might be claimed that we've had a team once or twice in the last several decades, where you felt, we could make a push. But this is surely this is the first time in all those years, we've had a SQUAD capable of pushing for it. What's more it's a squad filled with more local lads, more English players and more players ready to fight for the shirt than any of our competitors by a fucking mile. Led by a man clearly determined to create a legacy. And you're gonna act the policeman, making sure our collective feet remain on the ground by sinbinning. Well, you can fuck right off then.

We can always discuss to which extent it's realistic or unrealistic, but dismissing it out of hand as we're playing right now. If we cannot dream of the lads, as descriped above, representing this great club by achieving above our means, what is the fucking point....

Oh my days...what a performance..the best ive felt in 3 years.......apparently bradys fanny has finally given out, there is no more left......the paramedics quote was " she is fucked".......,.poor old girl

I heard that one of them was a 35 year old and one was a teenager who was slashed..
just out of interest. how much fighting actually goes on these days between fans.
i mean like u see in the films.
gangs of fans arranging to meet up & then they all go at it.
i assume that its pretty much dead & non existant these days.
but dont know if im being really naive.
ps. im not specifically asking u because i think u are a hooligan. so any one can chime in.

i guess if they need that release & there all up for it. then let them get on with it. better than attacking someone who doesnt want any trouble.
i wonder what the agreed rules are if any? no weapons? when do u stop hitting someone whos down & injured? or is it a free for all with anything goes.

Been very critical of Moussa over the years he has been here. I also did say that this year was probably his last to make an impression.
You have to give the man complete credit for his effort and commitment. He looks leaner, fitter and faster and is starting to show how good he can be. Lots of great dribbles coupled forward key passing today. Immense in midfield. Winning the ball back, retaining possession, gliding past players and creating.
Poch has to take some credit too. Obviously Moussa has bought into his methods and is reaping the benefits.
Gone are the days of Moussa out injured for most of the season no apparent reason.Gone are the days he couldn't last 90 mins. He is playing his best football since arriving atm.
I just didn't think he could operate as a creative midfielder, I thought he was more of a direct forward, but today he proved me wrong.
Long may it continue and I long may I munch humble pie.

That Lanzini looks decent. But wtf is up with Zarate?
What a fucking posing nancy boy cunt. Did nobody else notice how he has insisted on the kit man supplying x small kid size shorts? What a tosser.
I was pissing myself when he was standing there waiting to come one. What with those socks pulled up to his groin he looked like a fucking cheerleader.
The way he was bending over and stretching probably gave someone on the Spam bench a boner.

" Ooh man, dig that crazy dick.
Who wears short shorts
he wears short shorts
They're such short shorts
Like real real short shorts
Who wears short shorts
Mauro wears short shorts"

i know we like to say how crap west ham are. but they are a decent side & can be hard to play against.
we made them look a lot worse than they are.
so the manager & players get all the credit.
i would have took a scrappy 1-0.

fans were really good as well. seems to be a real feel good factor around the place.

really love watching dembele in full flow. poch is really getting the best out of him.

chelsea should be tough. they are fragile so we need to go at
them early & hopefuly get an early goal. not let them get any confidence.

leave all todays starting 11 for quarabag at home except ali. they were all immense & deserve a break.

i am a boring kill joy like oh ffs. so i do think we should just take it game by game.
1 injury to kane & it all falls apart. still desperately need a back up in january.

i also still doubt the players can keep up the work rate for the whole season. they struggled in the 2nd half of last season.
but we do have more depth in most areas.

also despite how well we are playing & how poor the rest are, we still arent in the top 4. u would assume we were at least 3rd from all the praise for our performances this season. its strange when i think of our performances compared to utds, yet they are above us.

i expect leicester to fall away. but i reckon everton might suprise a few & challenge for 4th.

even if we end up outside the top 4. we still have a very bright future.

Just a sign of the grafting of the whole team.
Our starting outfield players made more successful tackles 23 than Spam 22.
12 of Spams came from their back 4
compared to 6 from our back 4.
5 of the remaining 10 successful Spam tackles came from Noble. The other spread between Lanzini 2, Moses 2 and Kouyate 1.
The remaining 17 of our successful tackles came from 5 of our remaining 6 outfield players.
Son 3, Dembele 4, Dier 4, Ali 3, Kane 3

Without reading anything from the aftermath of the match I hope Dembele has been given the praise he deserves for such a powerful driving performance, he was immense!

Hey brother, if you want to run off and say that we're title challengers then go right ahead; and more power to you. I sincerely hope you're right and we march to championship glory this year. Just forgive me for keeping my feet firmly on the ground when we're 13 games into the premier league season.

Hi you lot, just thought I'd swing by here before falling asleep (that match and a subsequent Pub Quiz win have made this into one magical Sunday - though admittedly I can't compete with any firstborn-son-related-news!) and holy crap it's still sinking in just how great we were today.

As crazy as it sounds, even though I was nervous as hell for this match, it wasn't quite the same as (admittedly justified) nerves from seasons gone by. I've been watching the MotD 2 highlights to try and revisit it, and we just looked rampant as fuck.

One quick thing that made me laugh: Levy's face after we were 3-0 up and pummelling West Ham into submission...

Good lord, that man must have ice in his veins if he can't even crack a smile at that point.
Then again, it's a darn sight more dignified than spouting crap to every man and his dog like Brady. As you were, Daniel.

I'm glad about that as I'm well past all that stuff.. I do know one or two who still treat this as part of their football day experience.
It does still go on but nowhere near as much as the 80's/90's. Most of it is the younger fans who want to prove themselves, they are known as ' youth ' not very original I know.
Spurs ' youth ' are as involved as any of the other clubs. Days like yesterday and Chelsea next week usually brings out some of the older fans who used to be involved.

Someone told me this morning that it wasn't Spurs fans who did the stabbing, it was a car load of Turkish who were targeted/abused by the victim and other fans. They chased them up the road in a Rnage Rover, got out and stabbed him , not sure if this is true or not but that seems to be what may have happened.
