This entire fiasco, from the sacking of Strevens leading to relegation to this, should merit some pause from the #ENICout-ers who think there's only one way to go with new owners replacing ones who have proven unable to move the club forward.

You assume improvement is coming...but it can all end in tears, as well. North Sixth Group has been a disaster so far.

I see Truro have every chance of winning the National League South.
This means promotion to the National League and a trip to Gateshead (and possibly Carlisle)
That will be an away day and a half.
I have family in Worthing who go to most Worthing home games, it’s incredibly tight going into the last game. Any of 4 can win the title and get the only automatic promotion spot

6 if you include boreham wood and dorking but they would need all sorts to go their way

Look at Isthmian - top 3 separated by goal difference with one game left + straight shoot out between Chichester and Dover for final playoff spot... been several times to Chi this season. Much more enjoyable than having Spurs crush your optimism twice a week.

I go to Dulwich hamlet quite a bit and although the hipster fanbase they have is annoying it’s a great day out

Also go to Worthing when I’m down there visiting family

Much more enjoyable than going to spurs for me nowadays

Business end of the season truly at play this weekend. Anyone going to watch some lower league action? I’m going to see Crawley in their unlikely quest to stay in L1. Could be a good day for Barnet in regaining football league status.

Kingstonian play Ascot United in the last game today. Ascot are one point above Ks, both in the top 5. Ks need to mirror or better, Hayes and Yeading’s result to qualify for the play offs
K’s were second for most of the season but a disastrous run of results ended an automatic spot, last chance saloon. COYK!

Be looking out for that. Hope the K’s win.

Squeaky bum time down the bottom of the NL.

With one game to go on Monday 5th May...

Wealdstone Vs Halifax

Solihull Moors Vs Dagenham & Redbridge

Maidenhead Vs Boston

Braintree Vs Rochdale

:wansum:

The NLS finished with Truro taking the title on goal difference by 2 goals from Torquay. On this note a special mention must go to the Isthmian league, which was won yesterday by Horsham, who won the league by a single goal on goal difference by beating Hashtag United by 5-1.

But back to NLS, some really fascinating narratives..

Just 3 points between the top 6 with Dorking going to Borehamwood on Tuesday for the first eliminator and Maidstone going to Worthing on Wednesday to get through to play Torquay and Eastbourne respectively. This will be a very tight run thing, there are some very strong clubs in this pack.

The relegation story has been fascinating too, not one of the promoted sides have dropped, Enfield's end of season form has been magnificent and Salisbury have flown very close to the wind but managed to hang in there. St Albans were last to go in yesterday where they had to beat Truro to stay up, sadly for them within 22 minutes, their fate was sealed.

For Chesham, finished losing 3 games, 2 of which were local derbies but in fairness, first season in Conference South and finished mid table, had an excellent cup run, I'd be churlish to be disappointed with that. Highlights include beating Maidstone, Worthing and Yeovil at home and going to Torquay and winning.

Next season's going to be very interesting, 3 teams likely dropping from the national league and the reallocation of clubs making it a really tough challenge, it looks like it's going to be a very tough league.

Some very decent and ambitious clubs down there with no shortage of resources. Lots of potential in non league.
