Although grew up in Eastbourne, I live in Burgess Hill now so I go to a lot of their games. They were promoted last year and doing well in this. Their fans are a good bunch. Always noisy with their imaginative chants, tambourines, and pots and pans
Funnily enough, I went to see Burgess Hill U18 this evening against Lewes U18 as I was in the area visiting family. Really nice ground, staff and bar.

I think they’re well placed to keep progressing. The town is expanding, with excellent sports facilities, and the club is becoming something for people to take pride in. I grew up in a village very near there so happy to see them doing well - except when they beat Lewes!
I saw Lewes beat Hill 3-0 at the Dripping Pan earlier in the season so I think we're even

They got new owners last year who relaid the pitch (artificial now) and spunked out on new floodlights. Recently they've added a new "fan zone" with live bands (no Beyonce yet) and "pie corner" which is exactly what you think it is.

Northern Premier League chairman Mark Harris is at the centre of investigations by the Football Association and his own organisation after he allegedly sent an abusive email to an FC United of Manchester fan over a controversial decision to change the venue for a crucial end-of-season game.

New owner finally in place at Wealdstone

STATEMENT: Semaca Confirmed As Majority Shareholder

WEALDSTONE FOOTBALL CLUB is delighted to announce Nick Semaca is, officially, its new majority shareholder.

Final paperwork has been ratified and lodged, confirming the American investor as holding 50.1 per cent of the club's available shares.

And, happily, the club is also able to retain its roots in fan ownership, with dedicated followers across the globe continuing to own a small stake in their beloved Stones.

Indeed, Wealdstone's popular membership scheme - soon to be offered to fans along with season ticket sales - will continue to give supporters the chance to own a slice of their own club.

The Board of Directors warmly welcomes Nick to the Wealdstone family and conveys its warmest wishes to him, wife Jenny and all of their family at this hugely significant moment in the recent history of Wealdstone FC - a club steeped in history and core community values.

Said Nick: "In all of the time [I've been waiting for this to happen], none of the things that got me excited about Wealdstone have changed.

"That support, that energy, that backing, that feeling of community; all of those were reasons I wanted to join the Wealdstone family and that's the main reason I'm here."

You'll hear from Nick in much greater depth via a video interview that's soon to be published, from which key points will also be transcribed into a website & app article to follow up on his initial quotes in this statement.

Nick Semaca - Biography

Nick is a Director Emeritus of the international management consulting firm McKinsey & Company.

Currently, he is a shareholder in Preußen Münster in the German 2. Bundesliga, and a Founding Partner and shareholder in FC Naples - of USL League 1 in Naples, Florida.

Previously, he was the majority owner of the Joliet Slammers professional baseball team in the US, and an investor and Director at Leyton Orient.

Statement from the Northern Premier League.
Following a meeting of the board, the Northern Premier League can confirm that chairman Mark Harris has been relieved of his duties with immediate effect, pending a full disciplinary investigation.

I'm not sure I've ever posted in here. I bought a season ticket for the Mighty Chertsey Town last season and this season. just over £130 which is close to what I'd spend at the new ground. It's normally quite fun and not a bad standard and you can watch the game with a Pint

My first instinct was how sad this is....

But on closer inspection at their Club badge....
