Management The positivity thread: evAngelists only

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Coming in to read this shite is baffling, the only parallels would be “positivity: the Liz Truss thread” or “why Trump’s tariffs are actually working”. Hilarious stuff.

Let’s not let the facts get in the way of a good news story lads.

Shall we settle on 10% of semi finals in the PL era with Ange at the helm instead?

Don’t forget to start your countdown timers as well, 29 days. It’s ok to start feeling excited, don’t shut those emotions down, even if you don’t dare say it out loud.

I read it as 17 FAC Semi's :roflmao:

99 League cup (winners)
02 League cup (losing finalist)
07 LC Semi loser
08 League Cup (winners)
09 League Cup (losing finalist)
15 League cup (losing finalist)
19 League Cup semi loser
19 Champions league (losing finalist)
21 League Cup (losing finalist)
22 League cup Semi loser
25 League cup semi loser
25 El semi.........

I make that 18 before Ange +2 this season with him.

2 out of 20. So a 10% semi final rate.
Alongside our worst ever premier league finish.

But as long as we win it doesn’t really matter where we finish in the league.
And Spurs back to being known as a cup team.

Maybe that’s the real Spursy. Winning a cup and being shite every other week.

Any ideas which forum you will join this summer?
Keep following your great leader and enjoy his "attacking" football.
I just hope you will be able to find tv footage of the greek league or whereever he ends up "coaching"

We have mastered winning a cup while being shit in the league since 1991.

Ange is embracing that tradition and ignoring Daniels desire for boring old consistency and top 4 finishes.

Fair play to you for just making shit up. Why not? Facts are bullshit right! You must be a trump fan!

Unfortunately you will be called on bullshit on here.

17 semi finals since 1992?? I definitely call bullshit on that “fact” compadre.

Prove me wrong!!

Proved you right!

2/22 or ~9%.

Are we talking facts now or do we still need an audit?

Or am I missing something glaringly obvious?

Lots of information there.

:ange-clap: :ange-clap:

I have seen us lose a lot of those semi finals over the years.
So I’m hoping that Bodo turns out to be one of the ones we don’t!

Not sure 3 cups in 26 years makes us a cup team?
(99, 08, 25?)
Ange has got us this far, and we play better in that competition under him than in the league.

All academic anyway, no way Levy sacks him before the end of the season.

Do we play better in the EL though? The opposition is mostly inferior and we have lost enough games in that too.

You have cooked succulent tender duck here but have thrown in a couple of Birdseye fish fingers in your meal:

FA Cup 2010/11 we lost to Fulham in the 4th round
Uefa Cup 2012/13 we lost to Basel in the quarters, not semi.
Also a couple of those League cup finals you said we won, we didn't :D

Good effort though comrade, I like you the way you're keeping the positive vibes for the thread :adesalute:

That was the 90’s, 1999 win the league cup and draw 1-1 at home with Bradford a couple of weeks later
