We have the 6th best Goal Difference in the League. Strange season. Losing so many games by a single goal but nearly all our wins have been emphatic. That goal difference would indicate that we are probably a bit unlucky with our league position. We just fall short in so many close games. Definitely not as far off the top teams as the league table suggests.

A new manager next season could cook with our squad. Without Europe, then I imagine we'll go close to Top 4 next year

Let's just look at those 1 goal losses.
Newcastle 2-1 - Fairly close game. Though we had more chances, I thought theirs were better.
0-1 Woolwich - we didn't lay a glove on them.
3-2 Brighton - they scored 3 goals to come from behind and could have scored even more.
1-0 Palace - like the arse game, didn't lay a glove on them all match.
1-2 Ipswich - I feel sick thinking about it
1-0 Bournemouth - this was a 1-0 hammering. They should have had more. We never looked like scoring.
3-4 Chelsea. 2 goals gifted to us by slips, 4 conceded then one at the death. Our 3 mask how bad we were. Especially the way they were scored
1-0 Forest - didn't lay a glove on them again like so many others
1-2 Newcastle at home - lucky early goal then pinned back and outplayed to fall behind. Newcastle then easily saw it out
Arse 2-1 - see above
Everton 3-2 -3-0 down then score a couple of lucky goals against the run of play
1-2 Leicester - their only win in 300 years.
Chelsea 1-0 - other than the ruled out Sarr goal, we were awful. Their 2nd was unlucky to be offside IMO.

Even the 3-6 Vs Liverpool was kind. At 5-1 that could easily have been 7 or 8.
Freak goals from us have hidden how bad we've been. The 2-2 vs Bournemouth stands out. They should have won 3 or 4 nil. Instead we scored a cross and Kepa brainsharted.

People thought we could take a 1-0 nil lead to Anfield not long ago.
If we're 3-1 up they'll be walking around with their cocks out all week.
Trust me there is absolutely no lead we could bring to Frankfurt that would have me confident. This team will fold away in Europe and are capable of losing any lead. We wouldn't even know how to low block and keep it tight. We'd be taking quick frees and trying to speed up the game lol

Yup our game management sucks

We could be leading in the 95th minute and Porro will be sprinting 40 yards to close the winger down leaving all the space in behind so they can carve out an easy attack.

You're right, we are the type of team who will get easily baited so instead slowing the game down and kill time and do some shithousery we'd try and play football because that's all we know.

"Tottenham record when Vicario, VDV, Romero, Maddison, Son and Kulu start the first half and second half (so none of them were injured in first half): played 19, 15 wins 1 draw 3 loss
The 3 losses were all by 1 goal. 3-2 to Woolwich (ref robbed us), 1-0 to Woolwich (Header off corner, we played well), and a 2-1 loss to Wolves where we had 71% possession.
Gets even better when you add Udogie and Porro. Played 14 Won 12 Drawn 1 Lost 1. Only loss is the 1-0 to Woolwich.
Get a new medical staff, keep Ange and watch us excel as we always do when those players are fit."

That's cool but here's a really interesting stat on big Anj: we have lost 0 when we scored more than our opponents.
