That’s fine and true but you’re arguing that Traore is actually good.

Barcelona’s aura in world football is not germane to the question of whether Traore was Wolves best or most valuable player which he absolutely was not.

How many Wolves players do you think even current Barcelona would actually want? I can think of Neves and maybe Moutinho, and that's it.

He was their most talented and dangerous player but poorly utilised by the club, that's a view I've always held and expect to be proven correct when he's a roaring success at an elite club.

Being able to dribble fast... I'd want more.... Seemingly, their last 2 managers did too.

Putting stock in what he might (!!!) do at Barca isn't the most compelling argument.

I'm putting more hope in their being a strong synergy between Conte & Fab...... Seemingly Conte was a little more ambivalent which I suspect is why we didn't push as hard as we might in terms of an actual bid in Jan.

His first touch is immaculate, he dribbles with the ball faster than anyone in world football, he's one of the strongest players in the game, the definitive fastest player in football, and almost entirely resistant to pressing as a result of all of this. He's also a good crosser of the ball.

Anyway, de-railing this thread at this point, but I know my views on Adama are classed as unpopular and others don't rate him. I promise to only be a little bit smug when he's winning awards in La Liga.

And apparently Paratici rated Adama all the way back in his Juve days. And wanted him when Nuno was here. He was and is an admirer.

Words I can’t believe are coming out of my mouth: Connor Coady would stroll into that team

Mate, no-one's denied your right to rate him, but you yourself conceded from the off that he wasn't Wolves best player.... That was as far as my OG assertion went.

I'm somewhat confident his skillset will mesh well with Spanish football; but all the question marks surrounding him during his time in England remain in tact.

No way this pathetic United side were getting three points at Turf Moor. Good result for us.

Have to get 4th now. I think (and always have) that West Ham have been a massively overrated side this season, definitely more worried about Wolves the way they’ve been playing. United look to be struggling to turn it on also.
