didnt work out this season. It’s different with high pressure prem lge games every week compared to lounging around mid table in Spain concentrating on the Europa. Never did much in champ lge with Seville

Just glad spurs will be playing European football again in whatever competition. This season being knocked out the league cup 1st round and no Europe for us was terrible plus a short run in the fa cup at least whatever one we are in next season will be more for fans who love it. I end up watching the Europa more now to be honest. Champions league would have been amazing yes but realistically we are nowhere near and would have probably been short and sweet. There will be some good away days I'm sure and decent teams who we will come up against whatever competition we are in. I'm sure west ham will not change what they won a year ago. It goes down as History and we as fans why we love the game. I'm getting to old not to watch my club not to be in Europe I will be buzzing come august and hopefully on holiday with my spurs shirt on
They got to the semis of the weaker conference lge. Knocked out by a Greek team. When does that ever happen to a top 4 prem lge team. They were easily the best team in that comp on paper .
As I said it’s different when you are playing big games every week . Never did anything in the champ lge.
Yes the format is changing. 2 more group games. Won’t make a difference. Unai is obviously a top manager but winning a secondary euro comp does not make him a great one.
