Draw with both losing 2 points out of their max points tally.Do we want Chelsea to beat Liverpool to give us more of a shot at third, or do we want Liverpool to beat Chelsea to consolidate our grip on 4th.....

Yeah....... But we're Spurs.
If i had to choose 1 winner I would prefer Pool to win tbh.Do we want Chelsea to beat Liverpool to give us more of a shot at third, or do we want Liverpool to beat Chelsea to consolidate our grip on 4th.....
I wish I shared your optimism, I really do.I am absolutely unconcerned about top 4. It was wrapped up weeks ago.
We aren't Liverpool. We aren't giving up a 5 point gap in the last 2 weeks of the season.
Us to win and Liverpool lose, gives us third spot by two points with a game in hand, and we stay 5pts ahead of Chelsea with 2 games left.
No brainer.
Plus Liverpool’s league form is being wrecked by the CL, which they will not win.
This could be a very nice ending to the season. I’d still rather the dippers get 4th ahead of Chelsea though.....I don’t remember Liverpool ever hissing gas chamber noises at us.
I wish it was as easy as the first 3 words of your post.Us to win and Liverpool lose, gives us third spot by two points with a game in hand, and we stay 5pts ahead of Chelsea with 2 games left.

Yeah when you think about Pool are at a bit of a crossroads - win the CL, big injection of cash and more CL next year plus no doubt better players and continuing their European success history etc etc, secure the next 10 years easy; orI agree that Chavski fans are the absolute dregs of utter filth. And also that whenever up in Liverpool I've had decent conversations with their fans.
However, imo we have to be completely practical on this one. We are closing in on Liverpool; after finishing ahead of them in the PL every season bar one in the last decade, we have now almost reached their turnover. They are the team in our sights, and they are the ones we must now overtake.
Our Stadium will be bigger, our match day revenue will be much bigger. Our CL corporate stuff will be massive. They scraped CL last year on the final day, in effect relying on Goon's worst showing in 20 years. Another couple of years of CL, at New WHL, and them only in Europy, they will defo suffer.
They are the ones at risk of dropping out of the top 4 in the longer term. I can see a new top 5 emerging, very similar to what we had for years in the old first division, but this time the 2 Manchester clubs and the 3 London ones. Liverpool's history might not be enough to drag them up into it. The 3 London clubs will be helped by the massive economy that is London, MUFC will always be on a par with Real and Barca, and City are the national team of an oil state.
I'm holding my nose and hope that LFC don't get CL.
He also said that Alli is unappreciated at Spurs and he needs to move if he wants to get the plaudits he deserves.
It fucking professional troll cunts like him in the media that are continually putting the boot into Alli, he's appreciated by our supporters (mostly).
Would take 4th if offered. The risk of finishing 5th for the sake of 3rd isn't worth it. Hoping for liverpool to beat chelsea.
& also very happy for us to get more scrappy wins like the 1 against watford.
Confident we will get 4th but then again I predicted us to get past juve, utd & west ham in the cups.
Even looking at it practically, I don't think it's so clear cut. The nazis will suffer massively from not being in the CL too. Roman isn't happy to spend like he used to, plus transfer fees going up mean that it's more expensive for him. He don't have the wealth that City do, and less ways of getting around financial fair play. They would be likely to lose Hazard and they also have a long period of time coming up where they will be likely be playing at Wembley/West Ham, which will be tough for them especially if they're not in the CL.I agree that Chavski fans are the absolute dregs of utter filth.
