Here are the full details of Costa's improper conduct charge by the FA. Just been skimming through it myself...

Chelsea's Diego Costa suspended, fined and warned after admitting charge of improper conduct - Football Rules & Governance | The FA

In that, Michael Oliver stated that...

“He approached me in a confrontational and aggressive manner to complain about the decision, and due to his proximity to me and the aggressive nature in which he shouted in my face, I was required to back away from the situation in an attempt to defuse it.”

In the end, Costa got an additional one match ban after his suspension for the two yellow cards.

Now, I don't know about you guys, but I feel like Vardy's case definitely has the potential to come across as worse than this. It's also noted in the Costa incident that he 'had virtually immediately pleaded guilty' - and this was likely useful as a factor in being lenient. Leicester only bothered responding on Thursday.

The 2 yellows 1 game ban is mandatory and can't be appealed. He's accepted the charge of improper conduct. The only thing that remains is the punishment for the latter. If the FA go with their previous punishments (Rooney, Wilshere) it will be 2 extra. His hearing is an attempt to keep it to 1.

I agree with this. It should be 2 Extra because the incidents are seperate. The game against Swansea is about the double yellow. The charge being decided is not that, it is simply a misconduct charge. i.e. calling the ref a fucking cunt, not leaving the field, coming back on the field, inciting his team mates to misbehave, aggresively pointing at the ref in the way he did. That ought to be a two game ban. 3 in total. But my guess is that they will be lenient because it's Leicester, and fairytale and all that. He'll probably get 2 games total. That's what the media expect.

Agree. If they were mid-table he'd get 2 extra - no question. Leicester are clearly aware of the possibility of an extra 2, hence the hearing. Like you, I expect they'll go with the compromise.

Kyle Martino on NBCSN after the Newcastle game today:
Newcastle can get 3 points in their final game against Spurs. They'll probably only need one though, so I think they'll be fine.

Fuck off

Eden Hazard now talking about how much he wants Leicester to win the league. "Everyone at the club" apparantly.

Those guys are thick as shit admitting to it in national tv

You literally beat me to writing the same thing. They will play the game of their lives against us. Fine. Expected that. But they will not turn up against Leicester if Leicester need points from that game for the title.

Scum to the core that club.

Ok. So last week I said I found it amusing that fabrigas didn't want us to win the league. Being an ex goon I'd expect no less.

But I've now just seen the post match interview with Hazard saying the Club, the fans and the players want Leicester to win the league! That now, surely, can't go unpunished.

I'd have no problem with it if they only had to play us, there's nothing contentious in that, but the fact they play Leicester on the last day raises all sorts of ethical issues.

Totally unprofessional. And if they roll over for Leicester on the last day there aught to be a serious investigation.

If ref got removed from the game then hazard should be banned for both games against spurs and Leicester. The cunt might as well as said he has put a bet on the game.

All I hope is we've turned things around going into the last game so it's in our hands and they end up being as relevant in this title run in as they have all season!

Absolute cunts. Most pathetic defence of the title in years. They should be ashamed.

Don't worry about the chavs. All they've done is made it harder for themselves to go easy on Leicester, if indeed they were going to. This is just banter for our match against them.
