You have your opinion but some want better quality for the club. Davies is blatantly not it. In the recent nations league games he was well off it.

I’m not writing gray off I’m just saying the mo et we spent for him a champo player who wasn’t even considered one of the best we could have got a much better player for the money. Funny how some don’t recognise Solomon have a good year in the champo but are happy with 40M on an unproven player at any level really. Let’s hope comes good.
Funny how some treat Gray excelling in the Championship at 17 and Solomon excelling in the Championship at 25 as the same thing.
Neither was Wharton or Baleba but they both IMPROVED, I'm asking why you can't give Gray the same grace?

Davies has been a wonderful servant to the club and a very reliable and underrated performer in multiple roles in multiple systems for many years. And has always seemed like a top bloke as well, he will be remembered fondly here.
But he just does not make the grade athletically anymore. We're mad to think he can contribute on the pitch next season, he was a constant liability last year.
I don't agree that he was a 'liability' but why we not cutting him the same slack we're cutting others who we're saying we didn't see the best of due to the system?
Davies will always struggle in a high line in a two man CB pairing. Yet that's where he made his appearances last season and we would have been worse off without him. We can do a lot worse than having him around the club as backup and in training this season.
I'm not gonna argue that his time isn't coming to an end. The end may even be this summer if we do decide to move him on. But the level of disrespect some (not you) send his way is shocking.

What? Gray has barely been given a chance. While he's struggled at times, he's done well in a tough system and played in 3 different positions. He's barely 19 years old and when he fills out, he'll be a beast.
You are way too high on Solomon.
older doesn't equal more valuable, there's value in signing Gray at 18 so he can become club-trained down the line

Made the semis of the cwc and pocket 30 mil plus it looks like they’ll sell Rios. Still can’t see them offering 55 mil. 25-30 maybe and even that’s a stretch.

At this point, surely MGW agent is telling him that the club have gone to war with them and it’s time to stop turning up to training.
If they not only aren’t prepared to honour the contract they signed together but also threatening his agent legally, there’s no conditions left for a MGW to continue working for them.
Marinakis has essentially forced MGW out of the club
