Another rewarding day on the internet attacking billionaire owners who don't know me and don't care if I exist.Another rewarding day on the internet defending billionaire owners who don’t know me and don’t care if I exist.
But it’s all about what’s right and fighting the good fight
Because it annoys you? Yeah, the club should primarily think of whether fans are annoyed rather than what the best transfer options are.

Every club (except Chelsea) picks targets who are the best option at a price that can be afforded and who want to join the club. Why do you think we operate any differently? Because of internet memes about Levy/ENIC?You think the club picks targets because they are the best option?
You think the word hypocrite is from the Greek ‘father of medicine ‘ ?Well.....
Hippocrates was Greek.....
It's just who we are, mate.
You do know Levy and ENIC will 'end' eventually don't you?Let’s hope that fight leads to more protests and eventually an end to Levy and ENIC
In the ferguson era it was a ref holding up a united shirt. Clattenburg and webb springs to mind.
Good post, and I agree. I'm guessing one of the reasons we are attractive to young players is because they feel they are likely to get more game time?
What I don't like is the idea of is us possibly being a feeder club for the elite. We need to nurture and keep some of these boys, its the only way imo we are ever going to dine at the top table season after season.

build a young team is part of the attraction, Agree but a balance is needed and it seems this has been recognised and its looking like we are scouting to add a few ready made, first team starters, into the group.I think the clubs' facilities and commitment to build a young team is part of the attraction. It's clear we are building a project, and there is a clear path for a lot of our young players into the first team.
Signing the likes of Grey, Udogie, Johnson, Dragusin, VDV shows that we were not trying to sign the finished product and looking beyond just 1 or 2 seasons for the squad to mature.
Spurs will need a bit of luck for some of these players to turn into world class talents (ala Bale, Modric, Kane, Son, Eriksen).
Kids grow up idolizing the big clubs (United, Madrid, Barca, Liverpool), so it's no surprise that when they give the dog whistle, players go running. The money clubs such as PSG, City, Chelsea will always attract a certain type of player (and his agent!)
