Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Don't think Levy cares in the slightest about what a bunch of people on an online forum think/post about him. And, dare I say, those who believe so might be suffering from a grandiose sense of self importance.

He'll be fine as long as there are enough people willing to consume his products in the form of tickets, merchandise and such. Nothing else matters really.

Totally agree. He doesn’t care at all what people on social media say.

Paulinha will happen in another week and prob another punt at LB or another midfielder and we will make a big song and dance about 'tying Son down' for another year despite interest from abroad framed to look like a huge win and that will be it. Nailed on.
Keeping Son will be our landmark transfer business this summer I am now convinced.
The gulf in squad quality between the top 4 or 5 teams and the rest is laughable.

Let’s say we actually do meet their valuation and get permission to negotiate with Rodrygo.

Could you imagine Lange and Levy sitting down in a room with Rodrygo trying to sell the project to him? Just think about how that conversation would go, the gormless twosome smiling awkwardly with negative charisma trying to convince a top player to leave his dream club.

He’s going to be running back to Madrid telling Perez he’s happy to play any position, left back goalkeeper DM it doesn’t matter, anything to keep me away from those weirdos in London.

And then charge Perez 5 mil for this motivational session that will up one of their player level and scares him to never ask for increase in salary :P :D

I think Son is gone after the Asian tour. Between Frank sounding non-committal about him and the strength of rumors in the US press about the possible deal with LA I'd be surprised if Spurs don't cash out. Los Angeles would be good for Son in many ways.
