Nah he is literally the second coming of John Terry and I don't see how people can't see it yet, yes he scores but he is not a dribbler or progressive passer, just a physical specimen who is possibly already at an elite, if not very very high level aerially, I don't think he has the pace or capability to contribute to attacking phases of play to be a 6 at this level but for sure I can see him chipping in with 5-10 goals from late runs into the box during games where we have the oppo under siege and for sure he will be fucking dynamite on set pieces.

Baleba and Mitoma would go a long way to sorting us out. Ready made players who you know would most likely hit the ground running.
Yes they'd cost a bomb, but when you really want to improve your first eleven, in positions badly needed, that's what you have to do.

I'm not going to overreact to the transfer window so far. It's still open and a lot of deals could still happen. Following the transfer news is a sure fire way to just disappoint yourself.
What's disappointing to me is what other teams have done. Particularly Liverpool and just how far in another league that mentality is after winning the title. We would never reinforce in that way after success.

If we got this guy and went crazy for the #6 like a Baleba level player, I think the summer would have been salvageable. Although, I’m not sure you can play El Khannouss in the 8 like MGW and I’m not sure Baleba adds much passing from #6.
The only way Tottenham buy those 2 players you mentioned is if, they are both 17 years old, for half the fee they would currently cost and half those wages.
