We can’t sell Richy. We’ll not get a good return on Johnson and probably lose out big time on the Gray transfer unless he surprises us and kicks on.

As fans we shouldn't feel the need to care about it at all, however with the realities of following this club unfortunately we've had to come to take that into consideration.

However, given recent years there's no bloody point as nobody we sign seems to grow in value anyway.

I agree that Gray’s Achilles heal is his (lack of) physicality but he does have high end skills and more importantly an incredible footballing IQ.

He is 6’2” so height is not the issue so
surely the physical aspect can and will be remedied but this year may be a little hopeful. He is still only 19.

Archie could well be a superstar soon though
 
I can see how Palhinha would add an element of combativeness in midfield that we don’t currently have, so I don’t mind a loan. We still need a creative force to compete with Maddison though. I’m not convinced by Kulu in that role.

and someone that is just consistent and steady. We seem to be missing that in the squad
