Fuck, we're all spurs fans, mate. We want the best from our team, Why are we fighting with each other when the problem lies elsewhere? Can't we just accept hat some are more anti-enic than us?

That's fine. You do you and let us crack on then and dont feel the need to pull people up on it. Before long as time goes by ul have more people on ignore than you don't. It's safe to say whether it be on here, or at the ground the level of dislike and the hatred for the owner has increased though?

I enjoy slating the ownership and taking the piss out of it because they are useless wankers when it comes to making the football team i support succeed. But I love tottenham and cheer every goal just as passionately as the next spurs fan. And I like hearing from others that feel the same.

We all speak drivel on here, there's no acting. We are all just expressing our feelings.

I don't know the terms of his release clause but I recall reports of it only being triggered if pay all up front.

Maybe if offered 80 mil we could get around that. Who knows.

Anyway the crux of my point is people moaning about fans wanting unproven or unjustified players for 80 mil is moot in some ways because even proven high quality talent isn't on our radar at that price and fans pining for them to be bought also get shot down.

It feels like we should all just stay in our box and be grateful for occasional smart opportunistic signings like Maddison
 
So Son is going that's going to be worth about £15m and we know we have the £60 MGW money just sitting there...

So we will definitley see that £75m invested back into the first team squad in this window right??

Everyone wants the best for the team.

But to pretend like our performance right now is bad or that we’re showing worse ambition than in the past is false.

When in our history have we been this good? It’s rare and hard to find those times. Most of us weren’t alive then.

This is who we are. Stop being so negative and get behind the team.

yeah but we're not the same spurs anymore. we're the ninth richest club in the world and the owners have put the brakes on that growth right at the point where others would push on and try and win the league. it's frustrating

I am going out now but just off the top of my head in 1987 we were actually competing for the domestic treble until very very late in the season

We had a go whether you know it or not , there is more to being a Spurs fans than statistics

I guarantee you right now that the FA cup in 1987 was a bigger and much harder trophy to win than the Europa League of 2025 (Az Alkmaar, Bodo, Frankfurt and 16th placed Man United as a run!) is.

If we finished third, and were beaten finalists in the FA cup today, then your MTGA ass would be in here bitching about how we came up short and never do what it takes to get over the line with Levy in charge.

Times have changed and so have you. You can’t enjoy what used to make you happy.
